Yeah didn't miss it by a ton atleast, they just need that little bit that comes around the foul pole but I can live with it how it is for now, hopefully next year.

Pitchers wear jackets on the base paths. Don't think the Red's still have black batting helmets anymore though.

They still have black hats on the road and in that picture, it looks like a road game so I would assume with the black hats that they will still have black helmets.

Wow I didn't even notice that (I didn't look at the screenshot real closely), but yeah can't believe they didn't get rid of that.

We were supposed to have that ring around the mound initially but it was quickly scrapped due to it would be a pain to maintain that little ring of grass. So I can understand having it in last year, having it this year though, wish they had taken it out.

incorrect. they are wearing there old home caps on the road this year. The black caps are gone.

Sorry JT, it really looks like a type of celebration when you look at it in the video.

Either way, I hardly ever see the bullpen react to things at all. Why, I remember once in a Red Sox/Blue Jays game, somebody on the Red Sox hit a home run to their own bullpen, and it was going right for the bullpen guys. Not only did none of them move a muscle for a celebration, but they didn't even make an attempt to get out of the way. The only movement you see is Rod Beck... he leans back, sticks up his bare glove-hand, and catches the ball on a fly. The bullpen still does nothing and Beck leans forward on the bullpen bench again.

You just don't see too many reactions is all I'm saying... regardless as to whether it's a celebration, an act of frustration, or just getting the hell out of the way of a ball.

Ok, we covered the celebration thing in this pick! But what about the Progressive Direct banner thats cool to finally see some real advertisements! I wonder how many advertisers there are in this game? I know there has been this in the past but really just a tiny amount?

I thought that was the Red Sox in an inter league game in that vid with the pitcher wearing the jacket around the base paths. That could explain the dark helmet.
