it makes you wonder why the companies waited so long, i would imagine it would be money in 2k's pockets.

It's not just the upper deck, look at the shape of the foul territory and the configuration of the stands everywhere (especially in the outfield). It is no where near accurate. So much for the "accuracy" that the devs have been bragging about. Didn't they say that they went back and redid all the stadiums. If so, what is the point in re-doing something if you are going to do wrong again. Can't believe that some Card fans are okay with the representation of Busch Stadium in this game. I'm not a Cards fan and it pisses me off. Last year was forgivable but there should be no excuse why they could fix Busch this year. Guess the spent too much time making sure every speck of dirt looked right and forgot about the stadiums. It is stuff like this that ruins the feel of a game for me especially when you have devs bragging about the accuracy of there game when it is so blatantly not.

Whenever there are minor detail flaws I always try and justify them within my own game (and screwed up mind). For example, when (in MVP 05) the Cubs still had their names on the back of their jerseys, I pretended that at the last second the team decided to leave them on. With the Busch Stadium scenario, just pretend that there were structural malfunctions in the left field territory and the stands had to be removed, LOL.

That is some hardcore pretending... anyway rolltide I agree with you. It makes me mad that they go out of their way to say they remade all of the stadiums, but when you get to Busch it still looks like they only made it based off concept art.

Actually, looking at this pic alone, it looks like that the bullpen is holding hands together, swaying left and right, singing:

This pic could be an earlier build of the game. I could be wrong, but he said Manny would have has dreads in the real game and that he doesn't know why it is like that in the demo. So this could be the same about the stadiums.

This shot of Busch is from the trailer on 2kSports.com's website, from 1/17. Like Brinkman said at 1Up.com, Manny does have braids, but in some of the promo shots we've seen so far, it doesn't look like it. Anyway, sure looks like the right-field bleachers are correct in relation to the foul pole.

                  Hmmm… interesting Good catch.

Here it is compared to the stadium from last year. It does appear to wrap around into right field more.

And if Manny is going to have dreads, there's really no telling what other graphic upgrades they made that we haven't seen yet.

They really didn't get Busch close to being right. The foul territory is wrong, the upper deck doesn't extend into the OF and the dirt around the mound is still there.

It's just the angle. It doesn't wrap around any more than it did last year.

But did they improve downtown St. Louis at least?

I don't know… there seems to be some significant difference between this year's version (first pic) and last year's (second pic).

For instance, the upper section of the lower deck seems to stay connected around the corner in the new version (which is what it does in reality), and in last year's version it serperates in the corner.

I don't know; maybe i'm just seeing things This would certainly be the only shot of Busch I've seen that lends any hope.

I agree, the angle couldn't make up for all of that.

It looks like it still has a chance to be there disconnected to me. Look at the top of page 4 (assuming you're using the ten-posts-per-page style), and the first post has a capture of left field. It still has that gap on that side.

Wow are you people either bored or picky right now, I think overall the stadium looks good besides around the mound. Other than that what do you want, a picture, is it going to be the game killer because section 325 is not where it is supposed to be??

Actually, this is by far the most poorly represented stadium of all the stadiums in the game. If you look closely (or not so closely), you will see far too many issues with it.
