Yeah the more screens of it that get posted Busch really doesn't look very accurate , oh well hopefully gameplay will be improved, if so I can deal with it and hope they make it look better next year.

Blzer, first of all I admire your passion for this game. You have more passion in your little finger for this game and baseball in general than many people can even hope to have, and that comes through with all your posts. But how do you KNOW that Busch is going to be so poor for 2K7? Why are you so quick to dismiss that shot as being just the angle? Brinkman already said that there are graphical differences in some of the player models that have been shown in the media, like Manny's hair for example, so why are you so quick to assume that they still don't have Busch correct?

I'm not saying with 100% certainty that Busch is fixed, but you really can't say with 100% certainty that it's not. Why don't we just wait and see what happens in a few weeks, or if not even earlier with the demo, which could include Busch? Bottom line, we all want a great game, period, and so far it looks extremely promising. But let's just see before we dismiss things as fact, when the reality is we really don't know and won't know until something new releases.

Probably being a little picky And certainly not a game killer.

It's just a pet peeve of mine when stadiums and uniforms aren't accurate. There's really very, very little room for interpretation on these things. If there isn't an underline under "Phillies" on their jersey's in real life, why put it there in the game? If the upperdeck extends to the outfield in Busch, make it that way. (easier said than done, I'm sure).

I know a lot of people couldn't care less about this stuff, and that's cool.

Anyway, I can understand why Busch was off last year in that they had to go off of artist renderings, and I'm just wondering if they updated it this year.

Well, first of all, the demo is going to take place at Shea Stadium. So there's nothing to find out there and then.

Secondly, if I see a dog run by the street, I'm not going to say, "Oh, I think that was a cat... maybe in 5 minutes I'll go by and make sure that it wasn't a dog." I'm going to say that it is a dog until I'm proven otherwise. I may be wrong, and I hope to God that I am. But for the time being, I don't want people to get their hopes up. I'd rather not set people up for disappointment... I'd rather set them up to get what they expect. I'm not trying to look like a bad guy, I'm really not.

I already said that I think they may have fixed the backdrop (downtown St. Louis), and that may have been most of the rebuilding... plus some scoreboard and light fixture upgrades. But the stands look exactly the same, as well as the foul line. If they changed it by the retail version, I am a horny little gamer. If not, I'm not any more disappointed than I was earlier, so it's not too bad.

By the way, if I were how I am in terms of what I want in a game, but I was a Cardinals fan and wouldn't choose anybody but the Cardinals, I would almost call this a game killer for me. Yes, I am all about authenticity. It's like removing the warehouse from Camden Yards. I was extremely pissed when West Coast games had only day games in 2K5, and I almost made it a game killer since I'm such a big Giants guy, but instead I was able to compromise and play as the Reds. I still wasn't happy about that, though... and I can see why people would consider it a game killer.

all of this talk about a game killer and you don't even have a console to play it on.

I just don't think you can flat-out start calling game killer when you don't even know all the facts. The cat-and-dog reference, you really are comparing the difference between a cat and a dog to the differences between a few shots with varying angles of Busch? I think that's a stretch, mainly because we have thousands of years of data to show the differences between a cat and a dog. But we've only got a few shots here and there of Busch, and there are some differences that have been pointed out.

But oh well. We'll find out in a few weeks. We're in the same boat here, I want the exact same thing you do, authenticity all the way, and I eagerly await March 5th. These guys, Brinkman included, have a LOT on the line with this release. There's been screens, videos, interviews, even a developer blog over the last few months, no shortage of information. If they are going all the way with hats, hairstyles, even guys running the bases with gloves in their hands, you'd think they would figure this out. For sake of credibility, I sure hope they updated it! (and to think, I'm not even a Cards fan. I just want the experience to be the best it can be, period.)

Oh wait, Shea isn't the Tigers stadium, is it?
