    Get good at dropping pitches out of the strike zone. Also get good at dropping pitching INTO the strike zone. The AI reacts very favorably to both of those.

    That said, if you're unable to do it consistently or you are constantly leaving meat pitches over the plate...of course you'll be hammered!

    Just keep playing. Use a slider set that has been posted and you'll see a dramatic improvement. My first game I got SHELLED by TOR. It was kind of intimidating!

      I'm having the same issue in 2 player games too. We had 10 home runs total on a game on Pro level, so we figured just bump it up to AllStar. Our first game on AllStar we had 7 home runs each! 23 hits, 14 HRs. That ridiculous. Stikeouts, ground outs, and HRs, that's it. Getting a single was a cause for celebration.

      I like the game, the pitcher/batter interface is great, fielding and the camera is pretty bad, but there's got to be a way to fix this or I'm absolutely switching to the PS3 Show.
