2k7 is a great game. It has its quirks but nearly the amount of bugs that the Show has. I really hope the Show is better for the poor people who bought the PS3 for the reason to play the Show.

To each their own. I am enjoying RTTS mode immensely on the PS2... as well as Franchise on my PSP.

I'm having a lot of fun with 2k7 too. IMO, a great baseball game with a few problems, but what sports game doesn't have its bugs? Each game seems like I see different things. Lots of hit variety, and the game is downright beautiful in HD!

I'm loving this game too. I do have to say that my desperation for some next gen baseball might have something to do with it. Just like my need for next gen football has me enjoying Madden 07 more than I ever thought I would.

But honestly, I'm just glad 2K stepped up this year with a game that is playable and enjoyable. They needed to get back in the game after the debacle that was 2K6. It's a bit bug-ridden and needs some serious slider tweaking, but I am enjoying this one immensely.

It is bug ridden, but not nearly to the amount that Sony put on in The Show 07. What a shame...06 was a phenomonal game!

I'm still in 2Krak7 mode, but am holding off on starting my "official" season until Opening Day. I'm trying out different slider settings and adjusting until then.
Also crossing my fingers that the "update" addresses more than just rosters.
That "curtain call when the crowd is silent" is just creepy.

I am doing the same thing with my game. Once Opening Day comes around, then I will start my franchise.

Right now, I am in the midst of 20 game franchise of the Angels and the Cards.

Man I wish I could enjoy it. I have tried with all kinds of sliders. I try playing as the Reds but I strike out every time. The pitching stinks I can not get a strike out if my life depends on it and I am lucky to get a hit in 9 innings. The computer throws maybe two balls an inning thats it. I wish I knew what I was doing so I could enjoy it. ..

Angelfan,

One thing with this game is you can get the CPU pitcher to throw balls all over the place. I tell you, if I wasn't such a free swinger I'd walk 4-5 times a game.

Also are you using ZONE pitching for yourself?

I'm enjoying the hell out of the game. Not really interested in starting a franchise at this point, i'm just enjoying playing around with different teams.

I've gotten a lot better with the swing stick. I've cut down my K's to under 10 a game and have even been able to draw a few walks. I'm even enjoying the fielding a lot more than I did in the demo.

The only thing I really can't stand is when i'm hitting the ball, it'll sometimes go to the camera view where it trails you as you run the basepath. I've hit a deep fly ball and even a homerun where you can't even tell what's happening in the field because the camera is at your player's feet as he rounds first. Other than that, I'm having a blast.

I will try zone again. I just found it very arcady like I was trying to hit a bullseye as opposed to throwing a baseball. Thanks for the reply Jim.

Beautiful game, beautiful stadiums and four teams that we can play during a season. Doesn't make sense. Go back to a few years ago, give us control of all the teams. You didn't do it in MVP, took a MOD to come up with a TEAM CHANGER MOD. Please take the hint.
