I dont think you can make a very fair judgement just from watching the game. Try playing about 5 games and I think youll find how realistic it plays.

And I find the AI in HH one of the best ive seen in any sports game. Definately the best AI of the basball games last year and probably in my top 3 for all sports games.

WSB: Best looking franchise mode
MVP: Best looking pitcher model
ASB: Best feature list
High Heat: Best gameplay/minor league improvement logic
MLB 2004: Features look intriguing

Since I am a huge fan of accurate pitching and a good franchise mode.. I guess High Heat is the only one to do both of these. Only problem is High High has a variety of pitches while in the meantime doing a terrible job at executing them. At least that's how they were last year. MVP looks to have the pitching down pat, and WSB will with no doubt have the best franchise mode. I guess that means High Heat on the computer, MVP and WSB on Xbox, and heck maybe even ASB on the computer when it's discounted to 30 bucks.

This has been said many times, so once more isn't going to hurt. You can't base a game off of movies. The movies give you an idea of what to expect, but until you have actually sat down and played the game you can't pass judgement over any game. Once you play a game then you can hoot and hollar or moan and groan all you want.

Even if you play a game and say it sucks somebody else might like it so it doesn't matter what you have to say anyway. Games are meant to be fun but people get to wrapped up in trying to convince others which game is superior to another. If you enjoy and are having fun with the game you choose then that's all that matters.

I think horrible batting and a average pitching sytem should be improved, but of course, Acclaim doesnt care about the Public. What a Shame...

In your opinion, of course. I happen to disagree with you wholeheartedly. I enjoy the cursor- it's the closest thing to real baseball out there. In the bigs, players have to swing at a certain zone to hit the pitch, correct? They don't just swing straight down the middle, do they? To me, that's what no cursor simulates. But to each his own. But to say as a fact that 'HH and WSB' are competing for best baseball game, you are dead wrong.

Please describe to me the 'horrible batting' and 'average pitching system'. Was the 'horrible batting' due to you not being able to learn to use the cursor?

Please describe to me the 'horrible batting' and 'average pitching system'. Was the 'horrible batting' due to you not being able to learn to use the cursor?

So, in real Major League baseball, the batters have to angle a 3D cursor, or bat in their case, anywhere on the field (left, right, up or down) and choose where they want to hit the ball? Ok...........

Do they swing straight down the middle of the plate, and if the ball is 1 inch from the ground, still able to hit it? Again, just b/c you may not have been able to master it is fine. Just b/c someone else likes it is no reason to put it down.
