WSB does have sliders. Maybe you will be able to turn that option off. Just a thought. I won't mind if its just on bombs. Like one out of every ten or so. You could turn off the action replays in NBA2K3.

does anyone remember the rare HRs on Griffey 64 where the camera like stayed behind the batter as the HR went flying out of the park? That was cool.

I remember that. It was only on REALLY long home runs though.

            That game was awesome.

Well for the "no doubt" type HRs this doesnt bother me at all. I am glad they made the change instead of doing it on every HR.

BTW, ASB does this also, and I don't know about the console version, but there were a few cutscenes in HH for the PC when you hit a long HR in that game too..

Yes that camera angle on the extremely long HR's in Griffey on the N64 was nice. That really was a fun game.

donjn, calm down. Its like they said they were lying and made it exactly like Triple Play, but put PS1 graphics in to make fools of all of us. It is for only SURE home runs. Its not a big deal. And no way in the frickin world will WSB 2k3 go the way of TP.

I just read this in the interview and quite frankly Im shocked:

"Now, only on balls that are sure home runs, the game will cut directly to a cut scene clearly showing the flight of the ball, and the distance that it traveled. They are really pretty cut scenes and do a fabulous job of showing off not only the flight of the ball, but the beauty of the parks."

So now basically Sega has pulled a Triple Play and is going to go to a cut scene on deep homeruns taking away all suspense. I am in shock here.

It looks like MVP and ASB for me...

Not only did ASB do this, but so did HH. On clear HRs by certain players (especially Bonds), they would ocaisionally flash to him watching the HR.

So basically all three major baseball games do the same thing.

Are you guys the same bunch taht get excited about every fly ball at a real game, screaming about the lazy can of corn to centerfield thinking it was going out?????? Being a season ticket holder for over 10 years to the NY Yankees, I would say the majority of the homeruns you cant tell as soon as they leave the bat that they are gone. On some homeruns I can tell from just the sound of the bat that they are gone.

Before the pitcher has time to turn around I say out loud that one is gone....For someone not to get a game because of special camera angles on certain homeruns makes no sense. But everyone has an opinion....

                                Best,
