        It seems the Madden patch had a serious bug at first, so maybe its good Sony's taking their time with this one. That is if they're actually testing it thoroughly, which I would hope they are. I'd hate for this to finally get released only to make the game unplayable in some way & frustrate all of us to no end.

            something seems fishy as to why the update has not been realeased yet

            well i have some bad news I Remember KushGamer saying that the Patch was in testing at sony

            well i just called Sony to find out whats taking so long and the guy told me that he has no information other then its untrue that its in Testing at Sony because its not there game they cant test it

            he said its up to the company to test it and upload it to their servers

            so something fishy is going on so i would not expect it on the Playstation Store tommorrow

            so Can KushGamer please fill in on this cuz its been over a week since he last updated us thanks

                I was under the impression that the code was made to trigger the update when detected through PSN and thats what was being tested. I didnt think Sony was gonna pop in MLB2k7 and count the number of foul balls they can see from the pole came. Considering SCEA creates The Show.

                    Is there a MLB2k7 patch available today? Im gonna assume no. It seems like any game that has direct competition with Sonys products gets the shaft. For instance, we get NBA 08 demo and not a NBA 2k8 demo (however we did get a Live 08 demo), and we got a patch for The Show but not for MLB2k7 (however we did get a MLB2k7 demo) hmm I have to rethink this.

                        The store hasn't updated yet - it usually does somewhere around 3/4 p.m Central.

                        Edit: Actually, it looks like the store has been updated (LocoRoco's on there dated Sep. 20), but there's no MLB2k7 patch.

                            We've waited so long for this who cares anymore? I don't. NBA2k8 is about to drop so don't waste time waiting for these people to get competant. Maybe MLB 2k9 will function correctly.

                                Is when does that game come out? MLB 08 that is, I hear what you are saying, but even when this things does come out it will be like a new game. So how is that a waste of time.

                                                    That's completely wrong. Madden did the same thing with the fatigue patch. NCAA didn't give people the alternate uni's until the season was pretty much over.

                                                    It's not like MLB was unplayable without it. On top of that, it's obvious it was available a WHILE ago and the PSN wouldn't make it available. You can't blame 2k for that. PSN's digital distribution as a whole is terrible.

                                                        I would, like a poster said the game is not unplayable without it. I just think since the 360 got a patch - then the PS3 should get one too. Its not like we are begging for it to be created. Supposedly its out there - just wondering when it will be ready.
