Got the patch just now (8pm et.)..the patch is 143 mb and has fielding option: pole camera. Finally!! Haven't played yet so I don't know what else is new. I'm happy now.

yup i too can confrim its out PS3 Owners Its Here the Patch is officially out!!!!!

i am downloading now and when its done i'll see if there anything new other then the feilding option so i'll try to check it out today if not most defentally tommorrow

now i can finally get back into enjoying this game till MLB 2K8 Comes out see ya all leter thanks

I was kinda hoping I would see info on the patch. I mean we filled up 13 pages of complaining that it wasnt available. I will be commenting once I get home and try it out.

about the patch...do u need a us psn account to be able to download it? because i have a eu account and a us nba 2k8 and i tried looking at the online desk>downloads only an old roster file is there. Does the patch fix the Generic shoe glitch and the man marking glitch thanks thanks

ok i can check this for you but can you please tell me what mode this occours in and when it happens please go into deatil if ya can cause i never knew of this glitch anyway here is a few impressions


Pole Camra has been added and its very cool much easier to field the ball for me anyway but i still will have to checck this out

as far as the rosters go there are a few players updated in this patch and there pictures added by them as well as there pitching style and battig stances here is the list i come across so far

Dice-K Iam impressed he actually looks alot better now he no longer white and looks more like himself also his real life windup was added so he is actually playable now

Okajima he got messed up a little instead of being jap he is white but oh well not a game killer

Kei Igawa pic was added and pitching style

Iwmura pic was added as well as batting stance

this is all i checked for now see ya soon!

I was really hoping this patch would surface eventually as 2k8 is still 4 or 5 months away. Now all of us should be content till then.

Thanks for reporting the great news guys & thanks to Kushgamer for giving us the word that this patch was in the works..... even if it is extremely late.

Well framerate seems better, I was getting bashed by Minnesota pre patch and it continues post patch. Gonna have to spend some time. I seen a catch at the wall but it wasnt a leaping grab over the wall.

I have MLB 07 The Show and was considering trading it in on this game (to try something different). Is the framerate issue fixed completely and would you recommend getting it? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

avordo99, keep the show! while this game is ok, it still doesn't come close to the show in my honest opinion (even with the patch) the framerate isn't fixed it's choppy on the new camera. this is one game i'll keep an eye on next season, but this season it's the show for me. i heard that 2k7 is better on the 360, i have it on ps3 and the show keeps drawing me back instead of this game. hope to help. it is worth having though as i have both. but if i had to choose one, it would be the show.

If you could only have 1 game I would go with the Show but for me anyway its very close as far as having fun/gameplay.
