Re: FatPitcher, a couple of WSB questions

i'm sure this has been asked a million times, but what are the lengths of the seasons for a franchise mode (ex.- 30, 60, 162)?

OK, you can see why one would question his bias when he says its an 'accurat simulation" but in his summary says "arcade-centric". My other question is would you say his descriotion of the pitches is accurate? Is the pitching arcade-like or more the way of sim?

The default pitch speed is a little slow. I recommend bumping it up to fast or very fast if you can handle it. Pitches look a lot better in pitcher cam with the speed bumped all the way up.

Pitch movement is exaggerated in WSB, as it is in High Heat and other games. In real baseball, a break of a couple inches on a pitch can turn it from a home run into a foul tip or ground ball, because the bat is so thin. In WSB (and almost every other baseball video game), the collision area of the bats is much bigger, so pitch movements must be exaggerated if there is to be a realistic chance of getting batters to make poor contact or whiff once in a while.

Re: FatPitcher, a couple of WSB questions

                I guess while you're availabe:

                1. Can you list the Cubs minor leaguers?
                2. If each pitch has a movement variable wouldn't that allow the fastball to move?
                3. Why did you take out the forkball just to put in the cutter? Why not add pitches ala High Heat?

Thanks for answering everyones questions :-) Just one comment since youre on the boards today-

Do you think a full-field camera may be possible for next year? Obviously it would be for fielding, but given your 720p support, it would be nice to have more camera views for us widescreen users. Seeing the stadium and backdrops would rule while playing. Much more atmospheric. Cheers-

I'm guessing there will be more cameras next year, but very little is set in stone right now.
