You dont get what I said?

...It's weird that IGN wouldn't post 2k8 screenshots without some other website having first dibs. Usually you get a screenshot or something with interviews. Especially sports games.

Whoops, I guess I'm a little drained after reading all the arguments going on about The Show screenshots (on the other board). I thought you typed "Pretty weird that IGN would post 2K8 screenshots".

Well I just pre-ordered MLB 08 : The Show on PS3 and PSP, and pre-ordered Major League Baseball 2K8 on the X-Box 360 AND the PS3. All 1 day shipped.

I seriously am going to be in baseball heaven come March. Both are fantastic games, and it's going to be hard to split time between them!

Those screenshots were definite 2K7 screenshots. I saw the same exact shots last year. Identical. Don't understand why they would even post screens at all if they aren't of 2K8, seems stupid.

Cool, so will you be filling us in on the graphical differences between the PS3 & 360 versions of 2K8? Hopefully there won't as many this time, but I'd definitely be interested to hear.

Sure will. I have an X-Box 360 Elite and the 80gig PS3, both of which are hooked up via HDMI on a 40 inch Samsung LCD 1080p HDTV. So when they come out I'll be happy to take side by side picture comparisons.

                Awesome, that'd be greatly appreciated.

dont think it's all of them.. the all important line " we went though the most popular minor league stadiums" was in there...

The Show had just a few.. but it's been done..

Can somebody help me out here. I've been a lot lately about 30 FPS and 60 FPS. I don't really know what it means though. How big a difference would it be, like what would I notice?

It is how many frames per second the game plays at.
This game will run twice as many frames per second as last years game.

In other words, very smooth game play! No more herky jerky animations, sweet transitions, it should be beautiful.

Yeah, I honestly don't get this one. It's a glaring issue that renders franchise mode nearly useless. I didn't buy the game last year at all because of it, so I'm REALLY jonesin' for some video game baseball, though not enough to dump $60 on this game until I know, for sure, it's not equally unplayable (for me) as the last three editions.

I know lineup is a big issue for some but let me recap on the orgasmic details this game addressed: NEW fielding, batting, throwing, catching, and several issues that made the game crap, 60 FPS, an explosion of sig styles, better graphics than last year(is this possible? well some players need an overhaul) New Cards feature?, HR DERBY, new franchise. Guys this game is bad to the bone. And here I thought the stairway to baseball bliss led to the show. Thank you brinkman and 2k for the awesome game thats about to be released. Now, BRING ON THE MEDIA!!!!!

I'll believe all of it when I see it. So much depends on how everything is implemented.
