Re: 2K8 Brinkman Interview
Well, read it all. I wish he was a bit more specific. Sort of talked in general terms, but at least it appears they want to improve it. I wish them well and hope the game really improves.
Hopefully more info will start flowing out now.Comment

The 90 playable minor league teams and authentic minor league stadiums, which I don't believe has been done before.

Re: 2K8 Brinkman Interview
it probably just me worrying but I sure hope they didnt spend too much time on the PS3 against the 360... it sounded like (from that interview) that all they really focused on was the PS3.
not that I think i'll be dissapointed in the 360 version in any way but I sure hope its every bit as good as the PS3 version since, well, us 360 users don't have an option #2...
i still have faith that it will all work out
ps. glad to see an interview but MAN was that a lot of fluff... didn't really tell us anything besides what we already knew and/or assumedLG 77CX OLED / Sonos Arc Soundbar / Xbox Series X / Apple TV 4KComment

Re: 2K8 Brinkman Interview
The good:
The game was a little bit arcadey at times last year: A lot of singles and home runs, basically. Now you're seeing a lot more hit variety, and things you'd see in a Major League Baseball game. Choppers, rollers, pop ups to the catcher, things like that that you just take for granted.
there was a lot of interesting stuff we found out when we were re-writing the hitting code. A lot of interesting stuff went to determining what was going to happen with the outcome of a given play. We ripped almost all of that out. Stuff like team morale, stuff like player attitude, stuff like that. How do you tune that? There were so many different factors coming into play -- how do you get consistent tuning going on?
since you asked about cameras: we have a number of new gameplay cameras and we've redone a number of our out of play sequences as well.
the bad:
No, we won't have Spring Training this year.Pitchers and Catchers Report; Life Worth Living AgainComment
