Re: Same COMMENTARY ????
Ya but that might just be what came on the disk. The commentary I am sure is better in the final retail version.Comment

Re: Same COMMENTARY ????
Commentary doesn't bother me as I usually end up commentating on the game on my own without any care for what the broadcast team have to say."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Same COMMENTARY ????
I was always hoping this next gen would bring many anouncers in. like a different announcer in each stadium. There might not be enough room on the Disk for the Xbox 360 but with blu ray its endless!Comment

Re: Same COMMENTARY ????
Wait a second. I dislike John and Joe as much as anyone, but the only thing that made me stop playing MVP 05 was the presentation. Those two Giants guys were really repetitive and annoying, and the crowd ambiance was atrocious in that game.Comment

Re: Same COMMENTARY ????
No no no dont get any ideas.. lol they werent much better, in fact they were worse, John miller is great, morgan blows, the main problem is the dialogue though, if it were scraped for the most part and 90%NEW then this disscussion wouldnt matter.
but the MVP team sounded so ammateur, quoting lines from movies like no tomorrow, sounding ******** while doing it i can still hear the, "you cant hit the ball without swinging the bat MEAT" grrr.... thats CRASH DAVIS' line and u sound like an idiot!Comment

Re: Same COMMENTARY ????
Maybe we are so tired of hearing their monotone!
I even mute ESPN games cause I am so tired of it.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: Same COMMENTARY ????
Amen brother! Or how about just getting no name voice actors (ala NFL 2k series) and really just have fun with it?! For the life of me I don't understand why all sports games don't do this. Using real announcers is almost always "limited" by the fact that you have to work around their [busy] schedules. Not to mention - alot of them are not nearly as good on the game as they are in real life *cough * Madden *cough*.Comment

Re: Same COMMENTARY ????
Couldn't they just bring the voice actors that play Dan O'Toole and Peter O'Keefe from the old NFL2k series?
Actually i'd love to see a videogame company reunite Dan Shulman and Buck Martinez. They were the best TV broadcast team for baseball that i've heard in the last 15 years.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Same COMMENTARY ????
They never worked on a videogame but the previous TV announce team for the Blue Jays (Jim Hughson and Buck Martinez) did work on one of the Triple Play games I think or it might've been ASB. It all runs together but i know Hughson and Martinez did do a videogame.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
