Re: I am no longer employed by 2K Los Angeles
My high school offers some computer science classes which I've thought about taking, but I don't think I wanna be spending all my time making the games, I'll just enjoy them.Comment

Re: I am no longer employed by 2K Los Angeles
I notified the company at the end of 2K7 that this would be my last go-round. I feel blessed to have had the time there I did. It was truly my dream, which I thought I'd be chasing a lot longer than I did.
On top of the job alone, serendipity brought me together with Ben Brinkman, who I was reading interviews with about MVP in college and I even got a chance to work with the great folks at Blue Castle. Sometimes I had to take a step back and just think "wow, somehow I got here."Comment

Yeah I have a Bachelor's in CIS as well and currently working on my Masters in online classes at Phoenix. I've worked on several big projects but nothing game related but it is a field I had interest looking into.

This is true, I see you were 2k LA, I'm in LA. I often times do business in Santa Monica. I'm in the MTV building and they share this same building with Lionsgate. I cross paths with some of the SCEA Santa Monica and Vivendi games guys periodically. I'll keep you posted on Job Ops.Comment

Re: I am no longer employed by 2K Los Angeles
Glad to have you a part of the FAN community here bro! 2k7 only needed to do a few things to make it great IMO....I am just hoping 2K8 is not overdone with change and its errr'd more on the side of true simulation capturing the "little things" that make a baseball game great. Other than that I am pumped for it and once the game drops I hope you join in the discussions!!Comment
