Kush isn't corporate TTWO in NY? and also, now that you're not employed by Take Two can you let us know what the new mode is?

Hopefully, I can squash this here. You'll notice IGN didnt mention the card system. I think that's what they are referring to. I'm GUESSING that they were asked not to talk about it - meaning the specifics - and maybe they hadn't already realized it'd been made public that the feature exists. I'm GUESSING there will be some sort of grand unveiling of the specifics at some point.

Sad to hear but also good because you get to come back to the Best Coast I'm born and bred on the East Coast, I can't imagine how difficult it would be to be that far away from family for 3 years.

After 3 years of working on this title, I decided its time for me to head back to New York. I miss my Yankees.

I will be living in my parents basement and collecting unemployment and feeling ultra-cool.

Hopefully I'll find something game-related to do in the city soon.

In the meantime, I'll be hoping the demo drops soon like the rest of guys, because it'll be a month before I can play this game again. I went out on a 2-0 loss to A.J. Burnett on Legend difficulty.

I'm keepin the screenname and I'll still pop in here, but I wont be giving any insider info. Getting sued doesn't sound like fun to me. Plus, I don't really know anything about 2K9 plans anyway.

Not to sound too rude or anything but what were you THINKING??

Wow Kush. This is a shock.

Thanks for all the info you have given us. I know it was tough to talk, because I am sure you were sort of on a leash. Even BB seemed to be on a leash in the podcasts.

Why 2K handles it's marketing this way, is beyond me.

Anyhow. Good luck to you. Glad to see that you are doing what you feel inside you need to do. And things can only get more positive when you follow your heart.

Game development is damn frustrating. And exhausting. There was a guy who got a job with us after working his way up through QA. After about two months I asked him, "Well, what do you think? Is it everything you thought it'd be when you were in QA?". He kind of shook his head and said, "I never realized how long it takes to get anything done." Writing code takes a lot longer than many of you might think and getting it to work right takes even longer. But overall, it was a great experience. I enjoyed it very much. It's just time for me to move on and try something else. I could see myself coming back to a baseball game at some point though. It is the perfect mix of my two loves: baseball and gaming.

Even if I would, I couldnt anymore. It's saved on my computer back at the office.

Hell no, I hate In N' Out. So overrated IMO.... but maybe Jack in the Box. Love me a bacon ultimate double cheeseburger and seasoned curly fries. Though, I certainly could benefit from eating a few less of those.

I will definitely miss the SoCal Mexican food though. Can't get that in NY.

But the tradeoff is great pizza, italian food, and delis. Where are all the Pisan's out here?

Think of it has a change in your life. I respect you for walking away and wanting to try something new. I wish the best for you bro. Damn, I was hoping to find out if that was the real sound of the game in that trailer. Oh well, good luck in the future and good luck being back at home.
