Re: Hands-on at Gamespot
Do they mention, or Kush - can you answer - can you play the game without having to manually field? Do I have to control the fielder and actually make the play, or will the cpu do that for me? I don't mind throwing to the correct base, but I hate manually fielding.
Thanks for any info.

Nope, not through any input. Choosing to swing at a high or low pitch will greatly affect that though.Comment

Re: Hands-on at Gamespot
Most sliders from last year will be present again. We re-visited all sliders and made sure they worked well, removed ones we didnt see the point for, and added some new ones as well - like foul balls.Comment

Kush, for someone who doesn't even work for 2K anymore your doing more to sell this game than the marketing department is. Don't get me wrong your input is greatly appreciated but it's bizarre the way 2K promotes their games or more like it doesn't promote their games.Comment

Re: Hands-on at Gamespot
Hey Kush
Are the manual replays the same this year as in the past or is there something new and improved with them? I loved how the manual replays in MVP 05 had about 10 different broadcast cams you could choose from to watch a replay, I was hoping when Ben came over to 2K, that he would implement those replay cams.Comment

Re: Hands-on at Gamespot
Kush,
Is it true wht they guys said in the article....that someone like David Ortiz is more prone to popups because thats his tendency....so in return for line drive hitters like Abreu will get those hits....and weaker/pesky hitters like Eckstein will get more grounders or slap hits?....and this along with of course location timing and direction which u try to hit the pitch come together to create the appropriate hit?....
And if it does work that way how percise is this in your opinion? As opposed to last years hitting method?Comment
