Seriously, I was wondering the same thing. Tough questions?? Maybe something about why the framerate drops in all the videos that we have seen .
Then hopefully the question I submitted will get asked regarding this because I directly asked about frame rates and locks.

Any amount of compression is going to lose frames and detail. There was a large .wmv format movie posted somewhere. That one was the most accurate. Any other format compresses the data, so you shouldn't draw any framerate conclusions from that.
between the 360 and the ps3 which would you say has the better frame rate?

How come this isn't much of a problem with other games being displayed in compressed format? I've never noticed another sports game taking such a massive hit in fps when shown in compressed videos like those on IGN. Those that did, like PES 2008, turned out to have very bad framerate issues in the final game.

Where is the .wmv video that best shows the game as it runs?

I've personally never seen a recent game that kept such a low profile when it came to marketing. Everything with this game is a mystery or a secret.

          - It has rained in the Metrodome in 2K baseball for 3 years now. But in real life it never rains in the Metrodome. Will we have to whip out the umbrellas again this year if we play as the Twins, or did one of the programmers finally spend five minutes this year and correct this?

          - Why did 2K make the pitching so involved and difficult (good thing) but then dumb down the hitting even further this year? Does anyone who worked on the game, understand that MLB players have to aim their bat at the ball, in order to hit it - that hitting is about more than just timing? And was the person who removed the zone hitting option that was in 2K5, rightly fired? (That's three questions, sorry.)

Or that hitting and pitching needed to be refined?

Yeah, you're right that was an easy question.

Maybe, Is the framerate consistent when the fielding camera pans to follow the baseball after a fielder throws it? In the videos that is where the stutter is. Did it get improved at all in this last month?

KG, I was actually wondering if time-of-day progression is still in the game. I would like to think that it is, but so far all night game footage that I've seen is pretty dark in the first inning. Even the video footage at Fenway was an awkward time of day (perhaps 10:00 or 11:00 AM on last year's game), but this year it just may be static, though I'm not sure. Can you clarify this? It was one feature last year that I really loved (and anyone that was around here last year would know how much I appreciated you guys getting this in).

                          Thanks.

those are excellent questions, i'd also like to ask him whether or not the frame rate problem has been cleared up, if not then i'd say this game engine needs to be scrapped and started over from scratch but we know that won't happen or it would have by now.

Yup, its still in and tweaked so that it is darker earlier. Last year, it wouldn't get dark until around 9 pm. This year, its starting to get dark right at the beginning of a night game.

Kush, if your in the mood to answer Q's, I have another one for you:

There has always been one animation that bugs me more than any other and that is the pitcher making a running, barehanded (or gloved) play on a slow roller or bunt down the 3rd baseline and then turning, jumping and making a perfect throw on a line to first to nail a speedy runner over and over again.

Has this animation still included, has it been fixed/deleted, etc?

There are maybe 2 or 3 pitchers who are athletic enough to make this play in real life (and probably only about 10% of the time).

In the game, it kind of hindered hopes of small ball, because a perfect opportunity to drop down a bunt would be squashed by the over athletic AI.

                                Thanks in advance!
