How so? If you are talking about Carpenter and Wainwright, then I would have to strongly disagree. Carpenter will be out for most of, if not the entire season. I'm not really understanding your logic.

I don't think most Cardinal fans are thinking of a repeat of 2006, so I don't know what you're getting at.

YA BABY, GO HALOS! Also, love the Dallas Mcpherson reference. Anyways, I will obviously start a franchise with my beloved Angels. I also plan on playing Juan Rivera a lot more than the real Angels are planning to, as he is much better at hitting than Sarge JR (Gary Matthews).

I will be using my beloved Halos as always this season. The roster looks so good on paper, I can't wait to play this thing out. I think that the M's will challenge again this year, but don't see them getting hanging around past July. Just like in real life, the playoffs are gonna be the key. As I fear drawing Boston because the Angels have never won a post season series against them. Gotta try for homefield and break that spell.

I plan on splinting up. I will be the Mets on the "other" baseball game and I will play as the Orioles on 2K8. I am not particularly a fan of the O's...but I love the stadium and like the challenge of getting them back to respectability in the same division with the Yanks and Red Sox.

I'll be running and playing as the Jays. Hopefully I can bring a WS back to Toronto before 2012.

I'll do what I'm doing with The Show: I hold a fantasy draft as the Yankees, and pick as many current Yankee players as I can, starting with Jeter, then A-Rod, Posada, Cano, Damon and Giambi. Of course, by the time I grab all those guys, the CPU has already picked all the top pitchers, so I tend to end up with someone like Sidney Ponson as my ace of the staff.

That wasn't really a win per se. The rest of the teams in the playoffs failed to show up.

                  ...except I'm serious.

Yeah, no doubt that's how NY Giants fans feel as well.

The Tribe. Unlike Mark Shapiro, I'm not going to be afraid to unload some prospects for a proven heavy hitter for one of the corner outfield positions. I won't be able to tolerate a Delucci/Michaels platoon. I may also move Casey Blake to utility if either Barfield or Marte shows their potential (with Cabrera moving to short and Peralta to third).

Here you go, Detroit...you were a better team than the Cards during the regular season. It's not your fault none of your young pitchers could handle the pressure and make a simple throw to first. :P

I'm a cubs fan, so I may give them a try, but in the end I know I'll end up coming to the Mets. It's not even because they're really good, it's just that I am such a big Jose Reyes fan, and I hate to be on a team that doesn't have him. Oh well, maybe I'll fantasy draft.

Marlins: looking for a new ace after D-Train and Cabrerra shipped out to the motor city.

Young team that could be fun to build up.

While I will run an Indians franchise over the long haul (that is, assuming that everything is on the up-and-up with this game), I think I will do a season or two exclusively as the Akron Aeros (that is, play the Aeros games and sim the MLB, AAA and A games). I am toying with the idea of leaving all roster contorl to the CPU for this to make it a little more realistic. If you are running a minor league team, you are at the whim of the ML club as far as call-ups, send downs, trades, etc. I want to recreate that. Or I may leave it all in my control. I haven't decided.
