Re: What team are you GM/Managing?
Dodgers, then i'm going to trade away all the talent except for Jeff Kent. Sign Kent to a HUGE deal and sit him on the bench.
Also allow him to ride his harley all he wants.

Re: What team are you GM/Managing?
Well of course I'm going with the Cubs. I expect the team to have a pretty solid season with the only true question mark is whether Felix Pie can handle ML pitching. Cubs have 3 good choices for closer with Howry the most likely and Marmol and Wood setting up the 7th and 8th. There's a battle for the 4th and 5th starter going on between Lieber, Marquis, and Dempster. According to reports Dempster has found a new life in preparation of being a starter again, hopefully this will translate into success and wins. Again outside of CF the starting lineup seems to be pretty set and solid, with what appears to be an upgrade in RF with Kosuke Fukudome adding a nice lefthanded bat protecting Aramis Ramirez. Unless a rumored trade for Brian Roberts goes through, expect Soriano to leadoff in LF, followed by Theriot SS, Lee 1b, Ramirez, Fukudome, Derosa 2b, Pie CF, Soto C, with a rotation of Zambrano, Lilly, Lieber, Hill, Dempster/Marquis.
As for the rest of the NL Central, I expect challenges from Milwaukee and their revamped bullpen and great starting lineup, possibly Houston as long as Tejada doesn't have any troubles from the league office in regards to steriods, their lineup should be formidable. Expect the same from Pittsburgh, Dusty Baker has shown that he normally wins in his first year with a new team and the Reds can flat out hit. Harang and Arroyo are a good 1-2 combonation, with high expectations for prospect Homer Bailey. As for the Cardinals, they always scare me as a Cubs fan, but with Carpenter out, the rotation will struggle, and you have to wonder how desperate they are for hitting with giving Juan Gonzales a minor league invitation.Comment

Re: What team are you GM/Managing?
I'll be rolling with the Cardinals as well. I've always played with STL but the main deterrent was that they were too good making the game too easy. (I like rebuilding projects in sports games.) Well I shouldn't have that problem this year. The Cards look set up for a pretty good season but all I'm hoping for is a Brewers division championship to keep our "friends" in Chicago from the World Series for another year!Comment

Re: What team are you GM/Managing?
Im gonna be using the Twins. Cant to try out all the young pitchers, probalay gonna get smoked with them though. Ive always enjoyed using a more middle of the pack team. Like gamingchef said using elite teams just makes the game too easy.Comment

Re: What team are you GM/Managing?
I like to have two dynasties, one in each league. Because I have to play with my team: the Jays, but I like the management aspects that go into the NL game.
I'm not entirely sure who to go with in the NL. There are some nice teams. The Cubs, Mets, Brewers, Dodgers and D'backs should all be fun to play with. If I want to rebuild, I might go with the Pirates.XBOX Live gamertag - nhl101

I will be playing with either the Red Sox (favorite team) or the Devil Rays (2nd favorite team, plus weak team).Comment
