No i hear you man. I guess to us it is something that is so essential to proper gameplay, yet it gets looked over more often than we would like. But as i said in the other thread, if i can get it right for the games that i play against a particular team its good under the circumstances...im more worried about the trade AI, bc last year there were some doozies!

Still have Microsoft Baseball. FPS? Not sure what this one was. I could kick myself for selling my Sega Genesis and my World Series Baseball collection. I've got a bunch of them in the garage in zip lock bags stashed away.Comment

Re: Did they fix the lineup problem?
Agreed. I think I am in the HUGE minority that loves it when the cpu makes a whacky trade in my franchise or season. When playing I like to be submersed into a fictional world in a fictional season with REALISTIC stats & gameplay. It keeps things fun and exciting for me. It adds to the whole story line of the season when a Pujols is traded for A-rod... I dunno *shrugs*A screaming comes across the sky...Comment

You know how guys continually complain about the 'bat sound', repetitive presentation, or a bug that makes it unplayable? For me it's rosters. Maybe I need to sit down with Baa7 and go over some of my emotional issues................no, wait, that's a bad, bad choice.Comment

Re: Did they fix the lineup problem?
You should do it.
I'd sit down and even manually record a weekly conversation between you and baa7."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Did they fix the lineup problem?
i am surprised at how much play the bat sound is getting myself...bc there was at least 14 things that i can rattle off that made me more upset than the bat sound...but thats just me. For me i think number 1 is stats realism, i wil l never foregt espn baseball 2k4 when i hit three HRs with Griffey per game, at least..or when in Madden 99 i used to have 750 yard receiving games with Keyshawn Johnson...those things irks me to no end as i get older...and to be honest with you i can see how rosters being screwed can be a close relative to those things as well. When you see it...you'll know what it is...Comment
