I really don't think a demo will show you all that much as it's usually not from the final build anyway. Don't get me wrong, if they're good they can sway you further, but if they're bad it usually makes people rent the game before buying it, if anything. I would say for anybody truly on the fence, renting it will be a much better indicator than the demo. For 2K fans or baseball fans who only have a 360, it's probably already a done deal.

I agree totally. But, I am buying it AND the Show [luckily I have both systems]. The Show is the only game I even own for my Blu-Ray disc player, ah I mean PS3 game system anyway. Man, I'm glad Blu-Ray won, so that I feel justified for buying this system at launch and to play baseball.
I am buying MLB2k8 because I am excited about the new pitching mechanics!

I didn't buy 2K7 last year (partly because MVP 05 is a good game and partly because 2K6 left a horrible taste in my mouth) and I am seeing lots of people saying that last years title was great and I am seeing lots of people saying that last years title was very bad.

All I am seeing is the general opinions of people...Anybody have a thorough answer to why it was bad or why it was good? And why they believe that 2K8 is going to be good or going to be bad???

That would help me out...

For me, the game was fun but it didn't feel like I could get a proper simulation of baseball. Sliders HAD to be adjusted... but no matter what anyone says, in my opinion they couldn't fix many of the games issues. Minimize some, maybe... but that's about it.

I had the same experience and I thought the online game was a homerun fest.
