F--- 2k baseball they suck. They have been pulling this shi for yrs since 2006 on the xbox360. Game was all hype got home played ther game guess what. It froze after a few innings everyone was having this problem. They released a patch weeks later. I got the game in 2007 also guess what they promised they fixed it. Same problems then they promised 2008 would be better. Another pile of mess I heard and now 2009 the early reviews make it sound crappy again. This is crazy how can they continue to operate. Oh yeah I forgot that xbox owners only have one option for a baseball game. Got the other game on ps3 last yr and still play it love and look at the other board people are so happy with the game. The you come hear and it is the same depressing news again yr after yr. Why do I have to do all these work arounds and weird things as some people suggest just to play a normal game with no glitches from 2k. This is insane 2k baseball is the next Bernie Madoff a Scammer.

LOL, that's right let it out. For the record I have never ever had a 2k game freeze on me. I know others have, but it has never happened to me personally. Maybe it won't be so bad for you after you play it, you never know.

I never thought I would see the day when BFJ was critical of a 2k game. His statements about this game, say more than any single mainstream review about the state of this game,imo.

I was thinking that same thing. His comments say a lot to me about this game.

Well after moving the AI Success Slider from 35 to 50 the Tigers finally won the game in extra's on a Brandon Inge 2 run HR to RCF. Makes me wonder if the Success Slider is just the Skill Slider but worded differently

I don't even have the game but might can come up with a good set off the top of my head. I have a PS3 too so I will be okay

The PS3 may have been the best purchase I have made in the last 3 years.

Hey Joe....can you at least turn off that annoying ball trail in 2k9....By the way I have played the crap out of the demo and have walked quite a few batters....I try to nibble the corners...If you don't you seem to get hit pretty hard....

This game is fun. It's a nice change of pace from The Show, which I am loving right now and is my main "serious" game. But 2k9 is not bad and has some good points and bad points. There's some buggy fielding at times, CPU does swing at everything, CPU serves up good pitches most of the time, but overall I like it. Hopefully the patch will fix some issues and make it more of a "serious" game for the gamers that only own a 360.
