6.5 is really low. I agree the game has issues and it's not finished and some of the stuff is really unforgiveable. But the game deserves a 7.5 for presentation alone.

Yeah, I was planning to buy it before I heard about all the problems. Now I'm going to wait for sure.

no they need to improve the gameplay because it sucks and continue to improve teh presentation. I'm not buying the game either until they fix the gameplay.

I think it is will be just like the hockey. You see the potential and next year should be a good year for these games. The hockey has a lot of a great moments and wow factor, but took a lot out of it that was in it last year. So I say see what happens next year.

I find it interesting that once someone says the game isn't going to be very good, almost everyone else agrees. Thank god I am not nearly as picky as most of you regarding sports games. I want to have FUN when playing. I don't care about sock color, how often the cpu bunts, etc. The Show will most definitely have issues as well, so the people expecting it to be perfect are going to be dissapointed. I actually prefer the presentation, batting and hitting in 2K9. Hitting and pitching feels old in the Show. Either way, there will be a game to please most of us this year.

I'm with you, one review and a low one at that (not surprising it's 2k) and people go crazy, the sky is falling. I will buy regardless and from what I have seen from the demo and the videos it plays a very good game of baseball. I will have this and the show thanks to Russell, but this review doesn't deter me one bit. Carry on.............

It's not just the review that is alarming us. It's all the problems/limitations popping up:

- No Exhibition mode (can't change lineups)
- Can't edit batting stances
- Can't edit pitch deliveries
- Can't edit pitch types or ratings for pitch types
- Can only edit a limited number of players in a roster
- Can't adjust ticket prices
- AI batting is way too aggressive and sliders aren't fixing it
- Only one fielding view

I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting........

- from what I understand, all they have is a "play now" mode where you just go in there and have to face their star ace and jump on the field and start playing...you can't change rosters or lineups or anything.

There is no exhibition game mode. Only quick play. Which means you can't change the cpu's lineup or pitcher.
