this is making me wonder if they even give a **** about the consumer and just want money and will keep saying wait till next year, i have a feeling many people wil go out and get a ps2 to play the only real baseball game? what is this the 4 year of excuses?

"Seriously. I understand the grievance about the cap on edited players if that's true and assigning pitching stances, but everything else seems to be harping on the negative when it comes to editing players."

It took us common gamers 1-2 days to realize that there is a cap on editing, yet Ron won't even confirm it exists.

It took us common gamers 1-2 days to realize that there is a cap on editing, yet Ron won't even confirm it exists.

That is the kind of thing that makes me think he nothing more than a more powerful moderator of the 2K boards. Absolutely no reason he shouldn't be aware of something like that if he is indeed on the team.

I wish, but something tells me if they went through all the trouble of taking that stuff out, I don't see them putting it back in this year.

The editing of stances pitching and hitting along with the editing cap is gonna hurt 2k so bad. I can't say how mnay times i've seen that mentioned already. Like what? 1,000 times and for them to not think it's important even past a forum community for reg folk is mind boggling.

I don't know. You have to remember that theres plenty of casual gamers out there who have absolutely no clue about these issues. Couple that with the fact that this is the only game on 360. I don't know.

I just wish they'd fix these issues because in some ways I want to buy this game really badly.

He does NOT work for Visual COncepts, he works for 2k Sports. He's not a video game developer.

He's the community Manager, he's doing his job. He's listening to complaints. Then he voices what he hears on the forums to the guys that need to hear it.

Also, they dont ship a forum moderator around to world to other 2k offices lol

I am not big on doing a lot of editing, but the things that are popping up (franchise freezing, AI batting aggressiveness, etc.) are just annoying.

Editing is a plus for me, and it has been included in previous games...it just makes me shake my head in disbelief.

- bingo. I still can't believe that they omitted this feature...I haven't played a baseball game that didn't allow created players and custom stances since Pennant race for PS1

how in the WORLD 2k omitted this feature is beyond crazy...you delay the game, take the fine from the gaming board or whoever, but you do NOT do this..period.

Yep, the hardcore people are few in between. Most people like me could care less about editing players and changing batting stances The last time i edited a player was back in the 80's when i was making teams for the game Baseball Stars. That was because you had no choice. lol

I do hope they can allow the roster editing of all teams, because if not, then why is the 2K share roster update in for?

My, how quickly the world owes you one. Jeez people. At least this guy's making an attempt. Even if it's a crappy one, at least he's trying something. I remember when people wouldn't even bother doing that.

An idea for those who are on the fence. Maybe, rather then try to figure out whether the game is the salvation to everyone's baseball prayers before it's even in the stores tomorrow, people should wait and see what the reviews will say and then make a decision rather than trying to figure out whether the game will be good and what the earliest time we can get to a store is. And if you don't like it, go find a copy of MVP 05 for the PC and mod it.

I wouldn't say the hardcore gamers are few and far between. There are quite a few people on this forum that are ticked off about the editing features not being in the game. Yeah, there a lot of casual players who won't care, but there are a lot of long time baseball fans who do care and have said they won't buy this game because of it.

Forums are less then 5 percent of the player base man I know tons ofpeople that play sports video games and i am the only one that even surfs video game forums.

I think 5 percent is being generous to tell you the truth.
