I also have my concerns with knowing the CPU is going to have a big inning. I can usually tell they are going to have a good hitting inning when they start hitting the first pitch NO MATTER WHERE IT IS. Playing the White Sox I was up 11-5 in the bottom of the ninth and all of the sudden I couldn't get a pitch passed them whether it was in the strike zone or not.

Listen, I realize you can hit balls out of the zone for base hits. But, when they start hitting EVERYTHING out of the zone on the first pitch....c'mon 2k that's on you for being lazy.
Yep, no realism, the game seems pre-determined to have certain result, which is assinie programming. The games flow and momentum needs to be fixed. They have no clue how to make it dynamic based on each siatuation, playerr and Ai skill, instead a lot is scripted, whcih is not noticeable in an exhibition game, but in franchise it takes the fun out of it,

All of you saying it needs to be scripted have no clue. They have fielder defense ratings no? Take that into consideration, and based on positioning, and the type of hit, erros occur, NON scripted, other games do this, it is called Dynamic, and is not knew. Every game will have a bit if scripted events, but it is so obvious and glaring in ths game it feels cheap, like you have no control over the on fiedl result, which is a bad thing. it is not just fieldign either, some games you can throw meat balls all day and everything is out, the next, they smash line drives with pitches 3-4 inches off the plate every time.
