How does "my player" work? Do you start in the minors and try to work your way up? Or do you just start in the big leagues? I know NBA2K has it, but I've never played it.

lol i told you all MLB today was going to be in there. Though i have known for a little while now, but even before they confirmed it to me, i knew it HAD to be in there. You do not keep something this good out of an AAA title when its in your other AAA Title.

Become a Living Legend – With My Player Mode you can create a player, choose your team and then play your way into the Hall of Fame.

I am really anxious to see how they implemented this new feature.

Yeah, Ronnie on the 2k forums just posted the same list.

How does "my player" work? Do you start in the minors and try to work your way up? I know NBA2K has it, but I've never played it.

Pretty much, you will be drafted and have to make your way up from single A probably.

If you have to start from A ball, that would be sweet. I wonder if they have any practice sessions like in the show. Gosh, I am really hoping for 2 solid games this year.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Although I'm sort of glad they don't have a ton of new features, as I hope they focused more on gameplay. I'm hoping the my player mode will be fun.

Pasta said it is the complete list.

So hopefully gameplay was the major concern. Though I see they added their version of RTTS. Wonder how it will work.

My major concern is put the "Total Control Pitching lets you put the ball exactly where you want it". Which would be too arcade. There has to be margin of error.

yeah...that scared me. Being able to pinpoint pitches would be leaning this game towards the arcade.

It was kind of an odd features list to come out with as the first mention of your product. I just reread it and it seems like it didnt really say anything. But....like guys have said already, hopefully their focus was on gameplay and fixing the bugs

Yeah, I don't like being able to pound the strike zone at will either. Hopefully there's a total control pitching slider that you can raise to make it harder to throw strikes.

2k8 has this slider, but when you increase it over 80, you'll just throw nothing but meatballs.
