That is not correct. 09 was the first year it did not operate properly. The window for it was very short and if you did not have a perfect connection it made it extremely difficult.

        Get Out By Strikeout
        Get Out By Groundball
Two of these sliders give me great hope for tuning; get out by strikeout and get out by ground ball. Very, very nice.

I personally don't like a grounder or strikeout attribute slider because I don't feel a strikeout or grounder should be predetermined by an attribute slider. I bet I'll see balls going through bats again this year because of that " Get out by strikeout " slider, ya know ?

It doesn't bother me if the results are true-to-life. High Heat is one of the best baseball games ever made and it did not have bat-to-ball physics. Everything was a "dice roll" based on players' attributes.

I'm just guessing that it would be better to have ground ball and contact sliders than how you get out, if that makes sense.

Makes me wonder if they have finally added a throwing speed slider.

                My player questions chase!!

                1. are you able to fully edit your guy, kind of like off of NBA 2k10 with the face features and such? also, can you be a left handed in-fielder? ( shortstop, 2nd base, and 3rd base?)

                2. are their a great variety of accessories used like arm bands and shades and sleeves?

                3. Is it actually hard to consistently get on base ( i dont want everything to be so easy). can you adjust the difficulty level?

                4. say i wanted to go to the orioles when i get called up; can i chose to play for their farm team when in the minors?

                5. What is the camera angle when running bases? ( is the camera facing your player, or home plate?)

                6. is getting a starting job in the majors based off stats more-so than ratings? ( i hate the way they do it on NBA 2k10)

                thanks

Does the first base and thrid base coach go in after the inning, or do they just stay there when the final out is recorded?

Also, hope the have the real 1st and 3rd base coaches. along with the pitching coach

If I read through the lines and weed out the "politically correct" answers, I think this game hasn't progressed enough to warrant a purchase

It's hard to say IMO. There hasn't been enough tangible info released yet...it all seems so very "hush, hush"...lol. Based on what they've shown so far, it's not enough for me to buy it, but I always pick up a rental to see for myself. I'm most interested to see what the franchise insight (if we ever get it!) and future insights provide.

Wasn't Chase supposed to have his writeup today? Or was I mistaken?

i thought the same. he did post the one up on the first page at 3:30am, so it might be a couple more hours before it comes up.

but he did indeed say he was putting up more stuff for monday
