Hey Chase thanks for answering, now i'm not saying that this is your fault, but i'm still confused. The developers over at 2K or Visual Concepts need to get their act together. How can one of the art developers word their article to make it seem like these animations are in and then tell somebody else that they are not in? These animations are a big part of the baseball atmosphere, and if they are not in, i'm not buying it this year. Now i don't expect anybody to care if i'm buying it or not, but there has to be more people who feel the way i do. I bought last years despite all of the bad reviews, and i thought it was ok. There really is no excuse not to put them in this year. I do not understand why other baseball games can put them in but 2K cannot get this right. I really want this game to be good this year, but now i don't know. If there is a way to talk to the guy who wrote the art direction article, it would be great if you can ask him this question and put this to rest once and for all. Thanks for your time.Comment

Hey Chase, or anyone who can help, do you know if there will be the option to turn everything "simple" as far as buttons? For instance, using X to swing instead of the analog sticks. I know this was available in 2k7 or 2k8 but I didn't get a chance to play last year's. Square was power swing I believe.
Same with the pitching, there used to be an option where we could just hit X to make the pitch instead of using the analogs and such. Do you know if these are available this year?Comment

A bit of an odd request, but can postion players and pitchers be interchaged, not just during the game, but in starting lineups and depth charts? I play on a men's league, and everyone plays multiple positions, and I enjoy putting us in the game. MVP NCAA had the best options, as many college players are both outfielders and pitchers, for example. I could have a pitcher play LF when he is not on the mound.
The last couple years of 2K, you could give a pitcher a fielding rating at another position, but I could not put him in the starting lineup. So if I wanted him to play in the field, I would have to sub him in once the game started, thus losing one of my players.Comment

How come my Shades don't appear in the game ? I put them on my player in my player mode but they don't appear in the game !
