I'm too skeptical into buying it off the bat, but I will be paying close attention to the reviews and what the guys say on here. This is the first year this game has peaked my interest, and I'm starting to grow more and more interest in this game, I really hope that this year they get it right.

I am the edge too as I might buy a ps3 for the show. I did not have any enjoyment of the game.

I likely won't even have a chance to play it until March 10th due to work, so that gives me a solid week to get a feel for the game from all you's guys.

If they really put the editing features back in, I'll consider it...

But I'll tell you this right now, and I hope others do the same... I am waiting two weeks to a month and I will read every review, visit multiple boards and get as much info on the game as I can. I won't be an early buyer of this game this year and I seriously pray others do the same... This game has been a huge disappointment over the past two summers. I expect them to close the gap between The Show, but they just keep getting further and further away.

If the reviews and feedback are positive, I will watch some videos on YouTube... and if that goes well I'll rent it. If I like it, I'll buy it.

No more blindly throwing my money away on this game this year if it just continues to be crap.

This is a great idea. I think I will do the same. Wait and see. I've only purchased 2k in the past. But I may take a look at the show this year. Not sure yet. Thanks for the idea.

The only reason am trading up to get this game is because of the 1Million dollar give away... Other than that the game prolly gonna be trash and not worth buying like every year.. I am pretty much buying MLB the show 10 is just so real, with umpire homerun reyplay calls and so much more.. 2k sorts is just not up to sony in making baseball games, I hope they really surprise me this year...

2K, for the past two years, has shown me that they are not capable of making a good baseball video game. I heard last year was supposed to be the golden nugget in a three-year plan. It was a nugget alright, although I wouldn't call it golden, as it had more brown to it.

The game sucked. I only played it because it was my only option. Baseball games are my favorite games so I tried to will myself through a season, but I couldn't do it.

This year's game might be improved, but I don't think people will be happy. I am going to save some dough so I can relent and buy the PS3. The Show looks too good and I want a damn good baseball game.

I will wait for a month or two before I make a decision. I'll read reviews, watch videos, visit forums, etc... It is troubling that 2K has not released actual GAMEPLAY videos yet, and really, the lack of information being withheld a month before this game drops is troubling and leads me to believe that 2K knows this year's game is another failure.

Last year was supposed to be the year for Kush games, but since they shut down Kush because they were making bad baseball and bad Hockey games.

ok guys we get it. Check swings are out, kinda silly I know but, it is what it is. overall this game sounds and looks 2x better than last seasons game. 40 man roster, Sept call ups, AA, AAA teams, full customization. WOW if most/all the bugs are fixed this game will be a freaking awesome game.

yeah bro, those new features are nice man..but it really is all about the gameplay..if the game play isn't solid, or at least decent then the game will just be yet another epic fail........

Being that I only own a 360, this game is my only choice. The game is looking very nice though. Pretty sure I will getting this on release day.

Still on the fence too, I always pick up both. I'm not sure this year, I still hate the swing animations from the few vids I have seen. It;s like they never change.

I'm on the fence too. I think MLB 2k9 has pretty much scarred me from ever trusting 2k's baseball games again. I definitely will NOT get this on release date, but I'll be checking the forums and reviews and everything to see how it is, play the demo, and try to find out if they fixed the bugs from last year's game. I am very hopeful though, and I feel like I might finally be able to work the count this year.

I want to buy it, but i miss the pitching mechanics of the 2k5 game. i struck out the number one ranked player 24 times in one game. I lost 1-0 in the bottom of the 10th. But i loved the pitching. I was blown away at the control of it. I mean, come on, 24 kos against the #1 player. thats how i roll. lol
