Yes they do show replays as a starting pitcher. I have a guy who was 'drafted' to the mariners and now is with the Yankees. I see instant replays after about half of my strikeouts, either only showing the last pitch with a trail... or the sequence of strikes....

I just finished my first full season in the majors at 20 years old. I should probably bump the difficulty up. I am an OVR 80 now and I led the league in ERA, wins, WHIP, complete games, and shutouts. Naturally I won the Cy Young award. I had a blast though, I just wish the yankees would win games that I didnt pitch in. We ended up finishing with a losing record like 76-86; me going 18-4. We finished fifth in the AL east as well, so disappointing.

                  1. It's where you start from. I don't think there's an option to start in the majors.
                  2. Yes. Most of them are. Not all, but an overwhelming majority.
                  3. I don't think so.
                  4. Not sure I understand the question. The typical features for any baseball game are available. Free agency is there after a certain number of years. You can request/demand a trade.
                  5. You actually sim through the innings in which you don't perform. So if you're a position player, you'll bat every couple of innings and the rest of the game will be simmed. There will be also be fielding opportunities as well.

Re: MLB 2K10 Official "My Player" Thread

I have seen several other posts dealing with this issue. I got called up just before the All-Star Game (late June, early July) with the Mets.

I finished out the season and played the Phillies in a 163rd game to decide the division. We won, and therefore should be playing in the Post-Season.

However, when I click (A) for next appearance it automatically takes me to November 15. and doesn't display any results for the post-season.

I can simulate as far as I want and the 2nd season never initiates. Do I need to do something in the Navigation screen to kick-start the Post-Season.

Any help is appreciated. If I have to start over with a new player, that is fine.

                    Thanks.

I started a player and he is a catcher and I have just played 46th game in AA. How do you get your player updated with your skill points?

I'm really getting frustrated with some of stuff that the computer does in My Player Mode. I'm in my 4th year in the majors as a SP and the current shortstop is a computer generated character who throws left-handed. It hasn't affected gameplay (so far) but it still seems like lazy programing to me.

I have also been lifted for a relief pitcher in a game after 7.2 IP with a perfect game in prgress after 89 pitches. My stamina is 95 and I have pitched 12 and 13 inning games going well over 100 pitches before without being yanked.

You would think that with all the advertising they did surrounding the perfect game that they would have something in the game to prevent this from happening.
