Does anyone know if there is some sort of formula or something to get a perfect 99 player rating? I have been trying to getting everything bumped up but can't get above a 96. Power and Contact are 99 vs. LHP and RHP along with a few other attributes that are also at 99. Anyone know how to get the player rating a 99?

im at a 97 and all my attribute are 99 and it wont go up

700 AB, 301 hits, 49 2b, 7 3b, 106 hrs, 248 rbis, 176 runs, 430 average, .974 slug, 47 sbs.

That was my first full season. I play second for the Rockies but they couldnt do anything in the playoffs. Jason Hammel even ended up winning the CY Young. I must say overall the My Player mode is very unrealistic.

What level are you guys playing on,if you're putting up those kinda numbers just up the difficulty.I can't believe you're putting up those kinda numbers on the highest diffuclty level.

so yeah I can't even play My PLayer mode anymore. I wanted to start a pitching career but the game freezes at the loading screen everyday. I've cleared my cache, redownloaded paches everything nothing works. sigh.

Okay so i really like this game mode but it has one MAJOR flaw that i havent seen discused. I am a SP for the Yankees and I only throw maybe 75 picthes a start. That being said they never take me out of the game. I am not that good to up the levels because I did and got rocked. This has to be fixed I'm up 3-1 going into the ninth @ home and they dont bring in Mariano to get the save. Thats just crazy. I hope I'm not alone on this/

My guy leads the AA in Batting Avg. but hes not on the League leaders, in fact hes no where to be found on the list. Ive played through 61 games. Anyone know why this is?

hey guys i just finished my first year. After the year was over i simmed to my next appearance and it took me to november 15th. Then when i hit sim to next appearance again it doesnt do anything. I can sim to 2015 if i wanted to. So my question is how does the 2nd year start? what do i need to do?

Hey guys I just got the game, been playing the MyPlayer mode, it's pretty cool, although I'm not hitting any homers at all.

My question is, is there a way to turn off the super sim mode, maybe I'd actually like to watch the whole game, not the just plays involving me. I don't know, guess I want it to feel like I'm in the actual game more than 30 seconds. LOL

Not having read through the other 40+ pages in this thread, please excuse me if I'm repeating a conversation from earlier.

But has anyone ever seen another player on their team hit a homerun when your My Player reaches base? For that matter, an extra base hit? In the 100+ games I've played so far, I think I've seen 1 double and that's it. Granted, I'm on the A's who don't have a ton of power, but it's ridiculous that none of my teammates have ever hit a HR or with at least some modicum of power with my guy on base.

Matter of fact when I reach base the guys behind me strike out 90% of the time. ( Braves )

Another annoyance is how the pitching started sucking something fierce once I joined the team. All of the starters have a 5+ ERA. ( Also Braves ).. Kinda stupid really.

I have, Polanco, Ben Fransisco and Chase Utley have all done it multiple times while I was on base. Hope this eases any worries.

this happens almost every game for me, i throw around 70 to 80 pitches in a complete game. im a sp for the royals and in my first year we beat the giants in the world series. i went 13-3 with 10 complete games. they seemed to keep me in for the whole game no matter what. i gave up around 10 hits per game but had an era of only 1.33. another thing i noticed was that the computer swings at every single pitch and goes on streaks of getting 3 or 4 ground ball basehits in a row.i gave up only 2 doubles and 1 triple the entire season. i think the hitters mentallity is very unrealistic, everything else is great.

Seriously... my My Player is a SP for the Astros and whenever I get a hit and get on base Michael Bourne will watch 2 pitches for strikes and then swing for strike 3, almost every single time. And whenever I'm up at bat 95% of the time it's with 2 outs, and Bourne will hit the ball (when he does hit it) straight at a fielder

I have this exact same problem. Made a player. Played through most of the AA season, got promoted to the Majors on September 6. Played rest of season with my team. Played in a one game playoff against LA and won, then pressing A to play my next appearance simulates all the way through to November 15th. I don't get it.

Maybe you didn't make the cutoff date for the PLAYOFF ROSTER. Isn't that Sep 1st?
