    one word - addictive

I played this mode for about 5 hours straight lol. I'm a shortstop for the Dodgers and my batting could use some work but i'm having alot of fun and that's what matters.

The game's move well for just jumping around your players play's but it doesn't feel rushed which is good. The quick results are something that makes this mode even more addictive. I couldn't imagine playing 15 seasons before I saw for myself how the game executed it.

Just call my call up to the Dodgers.

Started out mediocre down in the Double A. I am a pitcher and he really turned it up late in Triple A. Got my call to the bigs during Spring Training and was completly lights out. Sent back down to Triple A, but started the year 3-0 and even had a 11 inning 12 K night. Fastball is up to 65 overall and my player is up to 65 overall.

I thought the sliders would be affecting all pitches, not just user or cpu ones...not sure then. Try it and see?

I haven't had a chance to dive into this mode, but are you able to see league wide transactions?

Also, how does it work when your player becomes a free agent? Do you just pick a team or do you get offers from teams?

Fielding is pretty boring in this mode at third base at least. You basically know it's going to be hit right at you as soon as it comes up. I've still been playing non-stop.

What also bugs me besides the pitch speeds I already mentioned, is that the AI is stupid. Not only leaving pitchers in for 200 pitches, but telling me to hit and run and then hitting a fly ball (happens way too often), not tagging up from third when I hit a warning track ball, telling me to attempt to steal third with a guy with 65 speed, etc.

It seems dumber than in the regular modes.

And I spend more time waiting for loads and saves, and transitions between screens, than I actually spend playing.

But yet I keep playing it.

Form the developer's preview I was getting the impression you only played certain moments during the season and not each of your at bats. I'm glad I was wrong.

I like how as an outfielder it tells you the distance you are from the ball landing spot .
              Hi bhurst99,

You're welcome, glad it helped for you. Like a lot of guys are saying here, the mode is a lot of fun and very addicting!, sure there are some issues but there are lots of positives too!

              peace!

I've been chugging along in my My Player as a 2B. I was hitting .212 when I started playing today and am now hitting about .270. I'm on a 10 game hit streak for my 2nd time in my young career, but this time, during my streak, I'm hitting .368 and my guy is finally showing some power and base stealing ability. My ETA bar is green which according to the game, means that I could be called up at any time now

I'm just in awe at times with the graphics and animations.

My pitcher had another one of those cat like reflex web gems.

My CF is on a tear now.. bumped up my average to around .280, and had a couple off the wall doubles. Pretty sweet. I'm still looking for my 1st homerun, but my manager now has me batting 3rd lol.

Yeah I'm batting 3rd now too. 3 HRs in about 15 games played tonight. Pretty pumped about that.

Maybe I've got my settings wrong, but the starting pitchers for the other teams almost always are pitching complete games.

Does pitcher fatigue get harsher at 100 or at 0?

I don't think managers sub their pitcher unless they get rocked.

I pitched a complete game as my SP even though my stamina was only 60 and I threw well over 100 pitches, but they kept me in the game because I was winning and I didn't give up a run.

I've seen the other team's pitcher taken out in the 3rd inning when he's given up 4+ runs already but if they only give up like 1 or 2, they're usually left in no matter how tired they are I think.

Yeah, but they're at 150 pitches and their Pitch Count is still a Green Bar.
