Ha! I totally get that. I've got mine also hooked up to a HDTV (also 46") so I get the best of both. I traded favors with the wife for that. She gets regular spa visits, I get my gizmos...lol.

Right on. And if I move this one into my office, it'll give me an excuse to buy a bigger one for the living room.....now I'm dreaming, lol

Well for $30 I'll give it a whirl.

The review for the computer from pcmag said it's nearly a legit gaming computer. It said the processor may seem slow, but the amped up video cards makes up for it.

I'd so much rather play it on the 42" tv too, but that's not always available (well rarely).

Yeah, the 360 controller is the way to go though if you want good controls. I can only imagine how weird it would be the pitch and field with the keyboard, lol

Probably. I use my PS3 SIXAXIS using a program called Motion Joy, that can actually be set to emulate a xbox360 controller.

The PC version is the way to go. I upgraded my PC last year to a quad core, and new video card. I can run MLB 2k10 with all the mods maxed out, and it blazes. Its so hard to play it on the console, when you can get the pc version and all the mods that go with it.

Please know this and understand. If you buy the PC version, chances are you will probably not get the first patch until July or August.

                  ^^^^Know and understand this above^^^^

I have accepted this, and do not feel the need to blow up on message boards because the PC version did not get patched as the same time as the console version.

agree with you ^^^^. Nothing beats a good gaming PCs. It's a shame they aren't more popular. I build my own gaming PCs and fix others on the side. They don't have the convenience of plugging into a TV.

How was the editor at Mvpmods for this game? Also what about online for PC or was there any?

I have an old xbox controller i soldered a usb end to that i used with MVP hopefully that will be compatible. I did use the motion controller with my ps3 controller but i hated the fact you had to connect to the internet every time you wanted to use it, maybe that has changed as i quit using it for that reason.

Now that is a nasty machine. The processor is an ace. You have plenty of memory for the future. And the 460s are probably the best pound-for-pound cards running. You made a great buy. You running a 24" 1080p monitor?

Yes, it's a desktop. I do have it hooked up to a 24" hd monitor with an HDMI cable.

If the game is really good, I might get the PC version too so I can play when my wife's hogging the TV
