Pro got too easy for me, so I've been playing on All-Star lately.
      The games are usually challenging.

I'm debating on whether or not to go ahead and do the Mike Adams trade in my Rangers franchise. I already checked to see if they would accept it and the bar was full (Wieland is a 64 and Erlin is a 67 in my rosters), but I'm only around 45 games into the season.

Mike Napoli continues to tear it up, hitting his 20th and 21st home runs against the Phillies. Unless he gets hurt again, I don't see him not getting close to 60 home runs.

I use Blazzen's, and they are hard! I'm getting better though, I'm able to get players on base but I just can't bring them around. I left at least 6 runners on in my past 4 games, including my game against the giants which I lost 3-1. I had runners 3rd and 2nd with 1 out in the bottom of the ninth and I couldn't bring them around.

                    Re: MLB2K11 Franchise Progress

                    Started a Blue Jays 'chise.

Made plenty of moves, and ended up with a pretty good team that I'm looking forward to using:

Acquired 2B Jason Kipnis from the Indians for 2B Aaron Hill and 2/3 star RF.

Acquired IF Mike Aviles from Red Sox for IF John McDonald, 1/2 star 2B and 1/3 star P.

Acquired 1B/3B Chris Davis from Orioles for IF/OF Mark Teahen, 1/3 star P and 2/4 star RF.

Acquired RF Mike Stanton from Marlins for OF Rajai Davis, P Dustin McGowan, and 1/5 star LF.

Acquired P Daniel Hudson from Diamondbacks for P Brett Cecil, P Jesse Carlson, and 1/2 star P.

Acquired P Michael Pineda from Mariners for P Shawn Camp, P Carlos Villanueva, and 1/5 star LF.

Acquired P Bobby Parnell from Mets for P Trever Miller, P Brian Tallet, and 2/2 star P.

Acquired P Sergio Santos from White Sox for P Casey Janssen, P Scott Richmond, and 1/3 star P.

Acquired P Ryan Perry from Tigers for P Frank Francisco and P Robert Ray.

                    Acquired P Eric O'Flaherty and P Randall Delgado for P Jon Rauch, 2/3 star C and 1/3 star P.

Acquired C Chris Iannetta from Rockies for 3B/1B Edwin Encarnacion, C Ryan Budde, and 1/2 star SS.

I signed a bunch of players out of FA too, mostly to fill voids left in the minors from all the trades.

After all the moves my team looks like this:

                    Pitching Staff
                    --------------
                    SP Ricky Romero
                    SP Brandon Morrow (trade?)
                    SP Michael Pineda
                    SP Daniel Hudson
                    SP Kyle Drabek

                    CL Sergio Santos
                    SU Bobby Parnell

                    MR Ryan Perry
                    MR Eric O'Flaherty
                    MR Jensen Lewis (FA)

                    LR Randall Delgado
                    LR Matt Chico (FA)

                    Lineup *
                    ---------
SS Yunel Escobar (71 con., 47 pwr.)
                    2B Jason Kipnis (75 con., 55 pwr.)
CF Colby Rasmus (74 con., 81 pwr.)
                    3B Jose Bautista (80 con., 96 pwr,)
RF Mike Stanton (67 con., 91 pwr.)
                    1B Adam Lind (76 con., 87 pwr.)
LF Travis Snider (60 con., 70 pwr.)
                    C Chris Iannetta (51 con., 75 pwr.)

                    *vs RHP

This lineup has so much power!
The only problem is they can't hit lefties too well, which leaves Lind batting 7th I think in that lineup.

I'm can't wait until I hit that first bomb with Jose Bautista..

                      2/23 UPDATE:
The Blue Jays had a spot open on their 25-man roster, and were searching for an extra outfielder with the ability to play some center field. And so after two games in Spring Training, they got their man in 25-year old outfielder Tyler Colvin, who has experience at each outfield position. Toronto's management is finalizing a deal that would send a third base prospect (2/3 stars) and two pitching prospects (1/3 stars each) to Chicago for the young outfielder. He'll immediately be in the starting lineup, playing left field for the time being.

                      More to come..

                        3/31 UPDATE:

The 'Jays ended Spring Training at a 18-12 record. They took a huge blow when young shortstop Yunel Escobar landed on the DL. He'll be there to start the season and infielder Mike Aviles, who was acquired from Boston in Spring Training, will take over. Fellow infielder Jayson Nix was recalled from AAA Las Vegas and will assume the backup infield role. Veteran infielder Ramon Vazquez was signed and sent to AAA to take Nix's spot for the time being.

Here is the team's depth chart to start the season:

Just curious, did the cpu offer you those trades or you were looking to deal? Also were there other note-fully/major transactions around the league?

                            also started with Jays Chise.

                            - Hill+ 3/4 star prospect for Espinosa
                            - Encarnacion/Molina for Ianetta/Escalona
                            - Carlson+2/3 star prospect for Massett
                            - McGowan/Francisco+2/3 star prospect for Jonathan Sanchez
                            - SIGNED Franklin to 2yr/801K deal (sent to AAA)
                            - Sent 2 AAA pitchers (3/4 star each around 68 overall) for Sean Marshall...needed a setup man

                            - These are moves to start spring training. During ST im going to try and move Rauch, Prospects for Closer, Snider/Thames for good LF, maybe Morrow+ for a better SP and try to add some guys for my Farm.

My Blog is below if you want to see full write ups, and summary for each deal made and the kind of prospects moved. More to come

Thanks! Lol I try to make it as realistic as I can.

Nope, I went out and made those trades before Spring Training even happened and I was not offered any as I simmed ST.
I'll check later as I'm not playing 2K11 at the moment, but there usually isn't too many trades during ST.
