Re: MLB2K11 Franchise Progress
If you want I can list the trades but it would take a while (27 trades). I am using a downloaded roster so that might make trading easier. The overalls are decent though.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 Franchise Progress
And is it mkharsh's rosters? That's probably how you have all those prospects in there.
You don't have to post all of them, just how you got all the minor league players.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 Franchise Progress
Just started a White Sox dynasty with mkharsh latest rosters & sliders. 4-0 so far, sweeping the indiansand a win against the royals. The Orioles wanted Adam Dunn's contract for some reason and I got a better DH in Guerrero for 1 year lol so that's awesome
Also traded some of more crappy relievers for some great prospects. Right now in my AAA team I have Chris Sale (sept call-up ?
), Hector Santiago, Derek Holland, Alberto Arias and Jumichi Tazawa. All 70+ save Jumichi. I may trade an older pitcher before the break, depending on their development. Mark Buerhle/Gavin Floyd. Jake Peavy might go, we'll see how he does this next game.
Things are looking greatComment

Re: MLB2K11 Franchise Progress
Started a Reds franchise and simed the until season start.
First game was vs. the Brewers. I lost 2-4.
Greinke pitched a strong game allowing just 6 hits giving up 1 ER and walking 0 in 7 innings. Arroyo lost the game giving up 7 hits and 4 ER in 5 innings striking out 3 and walking 2.
Votto had an off-night, hitting 0 with 1 strikeout in 4 at bats.
Bruce had a good night for me hitting 3/4 with 1 hr.
Perhaps I got to make a trade to get one really strong starting pitcher because I got the feeling that my bullpen may be okay but the starting pitchers will produce headaches.Last edited by wudl83; 08-31-2011, 01:26 PM.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 Franchise Progress
Been doing a Red Sox chose for a while now and currently stand 11-7 at the top of the division. Had a few injuries with Ellsbury, Lester, Beckett and Ortiz spending long periods on the DL. Love the Sox but decided to start a new chise with the newest rosters as mine are outdated. Thinking about the A's, White Sox or the Dodgers. Any opinions or advice?Comment

Re: MLB2K11 Franchise Progress
^ The White Sox are a ton of fun. I just now finished making moves in my new Dodgers franchise. It was very old and was much better pitching than hitting. Have to balance it out a little bit.Comment

Re: MLB2K11 Franchise Progress
So, I'm thinking about trading for Ubaldo Jimenez closer to the trade deadline in my Rangers franchise, but I can't figure out what is a more realistic trade. He's one of those "untouchable" players in the game, so I'm going to have to turn force trades on to get it to go through and I don't want to rip them off.
Here's the two scenarios I came up with...
A) Tommy Hunter (76, 4*), Chris Davis (75, 4*), and probably a 4* single-a prospect.
B) Tanner Scheppers (70, 5*), another player like Brandon Webb or Scott Feldman or a couple single-a 4* prospects
I think either one would be pretty fair. Option A is almost identical to the trade the Rangers made for Cliff Lee last year. They get their future 1B in Chris Davis with the other two aging and on the decline, they get a 24 year old pitcher who is major league ready in Hunter, and another player that could be on their team in a couple years.
Option B is more centered around Scheppers becoming a star. I don't really want to give him up, but for a player like Jimenez it'd be worth it.
So which do y'all think is more realistic? Them going for the Major League ready players that could help them immediately, or them going into more of a rebuilding mode and taking the prospects? The Rockies are a few games under .500, and like 10 games back in their division so it's unlikely they'll have a chance at the playoffs.Fan of....

Option A sounds better to me.Comment
