I've played a few games on the All-Star setting and have hit for a solid average and several extra base hits (1Bs, 2Bs, and 3Bs), but I cannot seem to hit any home runs. I am using the analog controls and have been consistently using the power swing, but I don't think I've hit the ball further than 360ft. I even tried increasing the "power" within user settings, but all I do is hit more extra base hits and can't hit the ball farther. Is there something I should be doing with the Left Analog Stick to increase my HR chances? When I try to hold it up, I usually pop out. Any advice?

Yeah, I do believe the left stick is the key. You have to push it in the direction of the pitch to get your best contact (I think anyway). I always look to pull first, and then if I get behind, I look outside or up or whatever.

That said, I aint hitting homers either, so I could be dead wrong, lol. I only hit 1 with Ike Davis in like 5 full games.

Is there a way to shake off the catcher's suggestion and have him suggest a different pitch? I know it was in previous versions, if I remember correctly, but I don't see it in the control settings. Not a big deal, either way.

Can someone explain how to steal on the 360? I know RT makes you lead off but how do you make your guy run?

What you do is press RT to increase you leadoff. Each time you press it, your guy takes a step. After three steps HOLD the RT down (you'll feel it vibrate) and keep holding it and then you let off when you actually want your guy to take off (as soon as the pitcher starts his windup). Once you get the timing down, it's a really cool system.

Question for franchise mode. Is anyone seeing dynamic attendance for there franchise yet, if your losing, is there less fans in the stands? Or more if your winning or playing a certain team like in NBA2K11 ? Thanks!!!

If you're playing in a franchise, you have to actually BUY Inside Edge for each team to use it in the game. I think it's in either the GM area on the main screen, but I can't remember exactly off the top of my head.

Yuk, i thought they had done away with having to buy that stuff.

I stole a few bases by pulling LT to take a step, pulled it again to take another step, then I pulled it again and held it until I wanted the runner to go, which is when I released the LT. You pull and let go quickly to to take a step and hold and release when you want the player to steal. The RT will decrease your lead or send him back to his base--not steal.

Sorry, I was thinking of My Player mode. It's RT in My Player since you're looking from behind the baserunner.

I never do, and i always take 4 step lead.

I've been picked off once by the CPU. On a throw over, my player froze and I couldn't get back to the bag.
