As long as you have a Xbox Live account and internet connection, you can get the patch. You don't need a Xbox Live Gold membership. I currently don't have gold and I got the patch and played a MLB Today game.

Is there a batting view that is zoomed in more? Does the game have button hitting?

Just to clarify here, are you saying that the out of town scoreboards display the real scores from the other games from your franchise?
It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

"What? You can't challenge a scoring play?''

Yeah, there's different batting cameras and you can adjust zoom and height on all of them.

I'm pretty sure button hitting is still in, maybe not for online play though.

Can someone sim into september and see if their september calls up feature is broken like mine is?

I called up a few minor league players and their faces all changed to the same random generic face. I remember this being an issue in 2K10 too, apparently it was still not fixed??

              Thanks, I appreciate it!

Can anybody with the PC version check to see if there's custom music in the game this year? You would think that would be something easy to put in the PC version, but it hasn't had it. Thanks.

Why do you say that? Have you played a franchise, completed a year and negotiated player salaries?

I thought your camera preferences were saved with your profile, but every time I start up a new game I have to change the cameras again in "Play Now" mode. Am I missing something?

Is there a way to have the strike zone up and not have it tell me what pitch is coming? It only happens sometimes but when it does pop up, it distracts me. I like the strike zone up but I can't play with all of the pop up stuff. There's enough already.

I don't have 2k11 yet but going by 2k10 there was no way to turn off the pitch recognition. It is linked to batters eye I think and is supposed to help. I like it, helps differentiate different hitters from others.

                        2 each his own though.

This year they added a Batter's Eye Frequency slider, or you can just turn Batter's Eye off I believe in Options.

I know in NBA 2K11, when you download Living Rosters they also update coaches. Will this be implemented in MLB 2k11? Currently, Bud Black is not in the game.

Yes sir! It was in MLB 2K10 also.

Yes you can. Turn off Batters Eye in the options but leave strikezone on in Presentation Settings.
