Re: Official MLB 2K11 - Q&A Thread
That stinks a ton man...thanks. 2K has now become "that" preverbial ex girlfriend I finally say goodbye to. Oh well, its not even about the batting stances, its way more than than that. This issue was presented EARLY last year and the response from ronnie and 2K was amazing. Have fun with the game fellas!"Im all jacked up on mountain dew!"

It's playing the same games that are on the real-life schedule for that day. Same pitchers, ect. The commentary is adjusted for recent events and things like that. I believe it's only against the CPU."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment

I could have swore Beltre always had a sig stance in these 2k games... Weird of them to take it out. You can give players a different stance though, so maybe there's one that looks similar to Beltre's real life one. 2k does this, I'm pretty sure they use the communities list of batting stance edits. I saw Kendry Morales using Carlos Delgado's stance."Im all jacked up on mountain dew!"

Re: Official MLB 2K11 - Q&A Thread
Do the out of town scoreboards around the stadiums work or are they stuck with the same scores and teams all of the time?
Thanks!Comment

Same here. Question HK, have you been able to enable Inside Edge for MLB Today or Play Ball games? I have it enabled but I'm not getting any data in the strike zone area like in the demo?Comment

Pla five innings today. Three extra base hits, but no homers. I like this pitcher's duel style. I'm the A's and I am really wearing out CJ Wilson. One thing I like this year is how easy it is to see pitches coming in."My body could stand the crutches but my mind couldn't stand the sideline"- Michael JordanComment

Re: Official MLB 2K11 - Q&A Thread
For now, catcher's suggestions have been pretty smart about attacking the blue zones. So I've taken to pitch to that instead of spamming the weak spots. If I continue to give up a ton of runs, I may go back to IE in order to pitch more intelligently.
But pitching to the suggestions is something I've done in order to generate more balls in the past. It worked great in 2K8, and 2K10. the suggestions were too FUBAR to do this in 2K9. Basically, I force myself to throw the pitch type, and aim to somewhere in the box.Comment

Re: Official MLB 2K11 - Q&A Thread
A few questions, thanks in advance for any answers:
1. Is there a simple, one button press throw option for fielding, or do you always have to use the meter?
2. Are there any classic stadiums in the game?
3. Is there a playoff mode, so you could play through the playoffs without going through a season?
4. Can you get through a single game relatively quickly, and bypass all the cut scenes and other junk that tend to prolong a game?
5. How deep do the minor leagues go and can you edit players who need editing? All ties severed...Comment
