In Franchise mode, is it possible to have a 40 man roster during Spring Training? The roster screen shows a max of 40, but I tried all kinds of things and I couldn't figure out how to put minor leaguers on the major league roster. What am I missing?

Clicking in the Left Thumbstick button enough will allow viewing of all teams at once, and once again will provide a view of the free agent pool at the selected position.
I did notice that reassigning pitchers in this manner changes their listed primary position to Middle Reliever, for some reason.Comment

I was able to move players around my team in Spring Training on the Manage Organization screen by first clicking in the Left Thumbstick (L3 on PS3) to view the desired team (MLB, AAA, AA, A), then clicking on an individual player to reassign him.

How does this MLB Today work in Franchise mode? Does it change teams to represent current rosters as you go along in the Franchise?Comment

Once you start a Franchise with a Roster set, that Franchise is locked so to speak. You can't use Roster updates in a Franchise that is already started.Comment

In Franchise Mode, all the MLB Today stuff (commentary, stat overlays, etc...) is generated from what is going on in YOUR franchise.

In Franchise/Season modes, the MLB Today stuff is part of the Presentation and uses the data from what is going on in your Franchise.Last edited by RGmoney; 03-10-2011, 03:04 PM.Comment

Can anyone tell me what you can/can't edit in the game? Like can we edit birthdays, pitch types, potential, and all the other ratings?
I'm thinking about picking the game up today, but it wouldn't be worth it if we can't have complete minors.Fan of....

For those who have played this game online......
anyone getting any lag when it comes to swinging the bat? Everything else runs fine but there is a delay before your swing on the joystick to the swing in the game.Comment

Throwing hand
How the guy's face looks and his skin color.
I edited about 10 of the Royals minor leaguers and didn't really have a problem putting the guys in the game that I wanted. Since you can change age, pitches and potential, even that 1 star lefty at the bottom of A ball can turn into a top 15 Baseball America Lefty pitcher."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment
