I haven't looked through everything, but is the HDMI audio crash a confirmed bug (not doubting anyone, just wondering how wide spread)? I just bought the pc version, so it should be here Friday and sometimes I move my pc to the big tv for new games.......which I use hdmi audio.

Otherwise I guess it will stay in my mancave (still a decent setup in there though). I just like to take advantage of the situation (ie big tv) when I know my wife isn't home!

I use HDMI audio and no it's not a bug, I haven't had 1 issue yet with it, nor have I for any other 2k sports game.

Majority of these issues can be repaired with a simple driver install or a setting in your PC.

FF, nice screens, man. Looks like you may want to turn the MSAA up a bit though. Shadows look a bit jagged, but overall it looks great

Do you use an ati or nvidia card?

And I've never had this issue with any other 2k sports game either, or ANY game for that matter.

What level are you guys playing? Or are you using customs sliders?
If so, you should upload and share.

Also, what are some of your stats?

Wins / Losses?

Etc?

I will look at my other stats later but I can tell you I'm using BigfnJoes sliders but I tweaked them a little.. Raised hum contact and lowered pitch speed.

Anyway, I'm currently 1-8 with the Tigers (all exhibition games). But, I would like to note that almost all of my games are one run games and usually very low scoring, like 2-1, 3-2... etc.

I usually strike out 10 times per game, maybe one walk. I think I've hit 4 home runs so far LOL

My batting average is around .230 or so.

My batting camera is zoomed pretty far IN and I also have auto zoom turned on.



Does anyone know of a tool to extract the stats? Like Rich did with MVPsavreader?
It would make sharing stats and stuff much easier.

Now that I think about it, I think all of the stats are on one screen. We could just take a screenshot of it.

Duh! LOL

I figure the most important stat to keep accurate is wins ans losses. I plan on whatever level I figure I am. Right now I am on pro, if I get 5 games over I'll try all start. No sense having my pitchers give up an accurate amount of walks if my .500 ball club is 1-20. It's painful to lose.

oh really...well it froze up..bang came back with no audio..I get a driver crash warning when I exited the game...went to nvidia and grabbed the new 267.xx drivers...did not fix the issue

if it is only happening in this game, to me that's a bug

I went to using my 54 inch tv as my monitor to make the most use of my GTS 450 and the best return on the hundreds I have invested in iRacing..I am not going to stop doing that because the makers of a 30 dollar game can't keep up with audio tech..their job to fix it not mine

Yeah you just answered your own questions to where the problem is. Nividia!!!!

Nividia cards are not that great anymore, one of my 1st cards was Nividia...but they've been slipping over the years and so many games are having issues with it. Mainly your PhysX is giving you issues and sometimes you have to uninstall it and re-install the latest one, instead of just straight updating it.

Also, the freezing is a rig issue, not a game issue! It could be the virus software doing it, or running other programs in the background. But overall as others have posted on multiple pages. They or we have played over 20 now 40 plus games and not one freeze, which can completely eliminate that as being a bug.

PC games are complicated, and I assure you its a hardware and graphics card issue!

Right.....it's a "rig" issue because MLB 2K11 is, I repeat, the <b>ONLY GAME</b> I have seen this happen with on my system. And I have played, at least, the following games on my GTX 460:

- Civ IV
- Civ V
- Mass Effect
- Mass Effect 2
- Borderlands
- Bad Company 2
- Dragon Age
- NBA 2K11
- Madden 08
- Batman: Arkham Asylum
- DC Universe
- World of Warcraft
- Fallout 3
- Fallout: New Vegas
- Dirt 2
- Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
- Starcraft 2

But yeah...........it's a "rig" issue. Give me a freaking break. Enough of the fanboy crap.

The graphics of this game are great, there's no doubt about that. But the player movement is still not as fluid as The Show, and the lighting in The Show is really, really good.

I'd keep playing the PC version if I actually COULD, but there is a bad bug with HDMI audio while playing this game. Sucks.

Really. I play through HDMIM with ZERO issues.

Run the game on a PC monitor , not using HDMI and see if it still crashes.

Just lost a nail biter in the 10th. Most of my games aren't hit fests, this one was.

I should have won this game. I had the bases loaded at one point with no outs and came out empty.

I also uploaded sliders to 2k Share. Under my name, Garrett67
