Yeah, I converted to the Show for the 08 version and even bought a PS3 for it. I had both versions that year. In 09/10 I only bought the show.

This year, The Show was a first day purchase again because they have deserved it. But I always did like the hitting in 2K. So I picked it up for the PC and well, I'm only going to be playing 2K this year.

Sure there are little issues here and there and I hope they patch a few things. But I just enjoy the actual process of hitting, pitching and fielding more vs the show. That and 1920x1200 with just about everything maxed out is nice. Also it's so nice not dealing with long loading times for everything on a console. It makes My Player mode so much better, I couldn't stand Road to the Show last time I tried it.

It's funny, I would recommend the game to someone who has only been playing the Show for years. Sometimes you just need the change of pace. But if somebody was new to either series, I would have to nudge them toward the Show.

It really depends on the person. Ideally would be what I have. A PS3 for the Show and a PC for 2k.

Thanks, I have a couple more I've done where I tweaked the colors. I know one is the Angels, not sure on the others.

I'll probably end up doing the Nationals when I have time, I never played with them but looking at Darkknight's photos the red looks faded to me.

I'm waiting to start my Mets franchise until the patch comes out, trying to not hold my breath. So I started one with KC, there are two random Photos of Huges and Hamels, rest are from my first chise game. Did I mention I love this game on PC....LOL

Since no one has really done any uniform edits, I've decided to do all 30 teams. I released the AL West and East on moddingway.com except for the Rays and thats because I like the way the uniforms look on 2k11. Don't really think they need any changes made.

I'm also working with someone to try to get the gear colors to match with my color changes on uniform. This is what I've been doing with the uniform, first is the default, second is the change I did to 2k's color and the 3rd is with the change in team color that you need the roster editor for.

the pc version is the one to get and what makes it even better of course are all the mods. the one in particular which i highly recommend is tywiggins roster editor. with it, i am able to negate a couple of the things (fatigue, injuries) that hopefully is getting patched. but in the meantime, what i am doing is using the editor to edit fatigue manually for my team and the one i play. for example, any series i play i just edit the energy for all the players to what i think is appropriate. as you know, when you play each game energy goes to 100. instead, after each one i use tywiggins tool to change the energy, then when the next game starts the energy levels are reflected. this is particular effective for the cpu controlled teams because now that their players have energy levels that aren't 100, they will sub pitchers and hitters accordingly. another thing i do before i start a new game, i change the starters stamina to 99 and energy to 100. this helps a little in the AI taking starters out too early. with these quick fixes, the game is playin awesome and you can wait more patiently for the patch, which as pc owners could take another couple of months to hit.

Quick question for my fellow PC users, particularly those who play around with FRAPS while in MLB 2K11


is there a button or method of getting that blue circle to go away when you're in a replay? I find that I am trying to shoot around it when taking screenshots and making replays.

Any advice?

Does anyone know if this would run on the newest version macbook air? Or at least if its coming to on live? They have NBA 2k11 and MLB 2k10, but 2k11 is a big step up.

I'm gonna post this in roster section as well, but thought I'd put here for the PC guys. I just noticed a guy updated his first roster from 3-31-11 this weekend on MVPmods. Not home to try it out yet , but it seems fairly popular. If anyone tries it, please post what you think.

Why does it say invalid code every time i try and sign up online? Has anyone else had this problem. I called 2k and they told me i need to send a picture to them but i dont have a camera or a phone with capability of putting picture online or putting them on my computer? So far 2k seems like a joke and i wish the show would make a game for the pc
