2. collision detection in outfield
3. stuttering at home plate when you get a hit

fix that and i'm set. i think.

franchise fatigue is a must for sure. hopefully it applies to the franchises i already have in progress. also agree with the stuttering at home plate. a player like manny ramirez and those types of players should do it, but not a player like ian kinsler and more scrappy like players.

I know this isn't really a patch issue, but it's kind of disappointing not being able to cutoff throws from the outfield.

It's fundamental baseball however, and I hope they consider it.

A simple press of the L1 button after the throw has been made, to get your fielder to cutoff the throw, and then you could preload a throw to another base to catch any runner trying to advance.

Even if it was done just as a "patch" type of job, in other words make it work first and foremost, and not worry too much with how it looks. It just would be nice to have the option. Again, it's fundamental baseball.

The big question I have is are these bugs fixable through a patch? It seems like the fatigue bug is very fixable but that bug where the player's face changes when called up was in last year's version and not fixed this year.

The other problem I would like fixed is when playing My Player as a pitcher, my pitcher won't move when on the mound, so covering 1st base is not possible.

I love this game and I'm VERY disappointed in some of these bugs. On the 2k11 forum there is a thread for all the bugs. It's a list 28 items long. Some are minor and something I've never noticed, but others are big bugs.

1. When PH for a SP, I don't want to see that position player show up on the mound after PH, it bugs the heck outta me!

2. Some animations are in fast foward! (running on basepaths, swings, pitching animations, just to name a few)

3. fatigue in Franchise mode

4. Can we edit player positions? and perhaps faces in the minors?

5. So many players that has inaccurate faces even for MLB players with photos!!! (Nick Hundley, Joe Thatcher, Denorfia all look a like!! CMON 2K!!!)

6. Padres new camos? Update or code that please.

FTR, I'm having a blast with this game and these little things ruins the whole experience for me... I doubt the player faces will not get fixed, but next year 2K need to get this right!

Well, just because a player isn't an all-star, doesn't mean that they can't adequately defend their position. Jimmy Rollins is a GREAT SHORTSTOP, and he's terrible with fast throws to first......I'm tired of the online timing glitch that allows steals of any base, including home, and makes the pitcher throw wildly (because you've already started your pitching motion with the stick) to really anywhere on the field.....

The first patch needs to be quick and address the game killers. Those are:

1) Franchise Fatigue Bug
2) Starting Pitcher Injury Bug (I haven't experienced this, I'm going by others)
3) Home Run Glitch (I haven't experienced this, I'm going by others)
4) Freezes (I've experienced this only once so far, but others say it's common)

The reason I haven't experienced many of 2, 3, and 4 is simply because I'm not playing the game much, since I know it's got serious issues.

The next patch down the line can try to clean up the code to get rid of the other bugs (and what else may pop up) but the above are so game killing I don't want to really get into the game until they're resolved.

1. Fatigue Bug
2. Stuttering when hitting the ball
3. Put the old "when you hit the ball into play" camera back as an OPTION for offline play. Don't stick us with this new camera, come on 2k. It's the default camera online, why no option offline? geez louise.
4. Tone down the throwing errors, you overdo every "new" feature. Even backups in the Majors can fire a ball to first most of the time and only have a couple wild throws. It's like everyone is suddenly chuck knoblauch in the infield with their throws. Sure you can put it in the green on the meter but the ball barely gets there. Everything in the green is a rainbow throw. Have some variety when you are in the red part of the meter so we can put some zip on the ball and still be accurate.
5. Tone down on the making every fly ball for your average outfielder an adventure. They are pro's, not little leaguers. I want variety too but even the worst outfielders don't make an adventure out of a routine fly ball. Another new feature overdone.
6. If you get a chance PUT BUCK SHOWALTER IN THE GAME, lol.. I thought Charlie Manuel was bad but at least his model resembles him somewhat.

The notes for the first patch seemed to have about 100 little fixes.

Instead of focusing on a bunch of minor things you can live with, how about fixing 3 or 4 major things that can destroy your game-playing experience?

My list is pretty short:

1. Franchise fatigue
2. Injured players going missing after coming off the DL
3. Add a method of keeping track of how many days players are on rehab assignments (unless, I'm missing something)
4. Random lockups/ minor glitches

Aside from these things, the game has been a pleasant surprise for me.

I could seriously live with everything else if the fatigue was fixed. Despite its flaws, I think the game plays great! Just will not start a franchise until there is fatigue.

2. What's up with no one above a 79 overall being available in the free agent pool in franchise pool after about the 2nd year? I've heard it has something to do with small contracts and huge budgets for teams?? Either way, this needs to be fixed ASAP
