I have recently been having pitchers pulled WAY WAY early and in the middle of batters. I just played against Chapman in my fantasy draft franchise and his line was 1.2 pitched 0 hits 4 K's and he got pulled with a 1-2 count in the final out. This has happened to me about 3 or 4 times in my last ten starts. Gusy getting pulled sub 4 IP with sub 2ER and in the middle of counts.

Re: computer taking out starters too early every game
I agree with whomever said it was a simple programming issue. The CPU itself doesn't use enough variables to compute and decide who stays in the game and who gets yanked.
Number of hits and runs are not the only reason why a pitcher should get yanked. Pitch count, inning, fatigue, L/R Matchup, score, who's available in the bullpen based on fatigue and prior days usage, etc. are all factors that need to be considered.
For example, I beat the Phillies 4-3 in 13 innings and used every reliever I had. In the next game it was imperative for me to get at least 6 innings out of my starter because if fatigue was implemented properly, my bullpen should have been gassed. This is not working in the game.
This lack of programming also seems to be the reason that the relievers are left in longer than they should be and why the CPU allows a relief pitcher to bat in the late innings if his team is behind.
Bottom line is that it's an unacceptable programming flaw that eliminates one of the greatest aspects of the game itself and what stops this title from becoming an elite title. I highly doubt that it can be fixed in a patch unless they've been working on it since mid-March.Comment

Re: computer taking out starters too early every game
I scored 11 runs in the 3rd inning last night against Burnett. They never pulled him, he pitched all 9 inning(over 120 pitches).
I had one game were Zambrano only gave up 2 hits and 3 runs in the 1st inning, and he got pulled.

Re: computer taking out starters too early every game
I've never noticed an insta-pull.
I scored 3 in the bottom of the first against AJ Burnett last night (using Texas). They kept him in and he pitched pretty well over the next 5 innings or so. I believe in the 6th inning I tacked on 2 more runs, making the score 5-1. He was close to (if not over) 80 pitches by that point, so it was a legit pull.Comment

Re: computer taking out starters too early every game
This occurs a lot for me too. Had pelfrey get pulled on me in the Marlins/Mets MLB Today game after only 2.1 innings. Score was 4-1 Marlins and gave up 1 2-run homer the inning before. Had a single in the inning when he got pulled. This is frustrating :-/Comment

Re: computer taking out starters too early every game
The quick pulling of a starter seems to be un-fixable this year but the other thing that irritates me is during a series the cpu team will use the same reliever(s) every game. Who ever is listed #1 on their middle relief/setup they will use all 3 games you put them in a situation to go to the pen in the 6th or so and they will pitch their balls off. Its one thing to use the same guys 3 games in a row its another to use him for 9 innings. The only hope for this is I have been leaving the fatigue on and hopefully they will use different guys. I know the fatigue doesn't impact our players but it does theres, until tomorrow that is. Anyone else notice this?Comment
