Have an issue when the batter hits the ball long, my outfielder throws to the infielder, outfielder reacts perfectly but when infielder gets the ball he stands there for a second - two doing nothing, instead of throwing it inmediately to the needed base, enough for a run, nevermind if its mine or cpu`s cause i use ai outfields.

Re: MLB 2K12 Feedback Thread (For Future Patch)
Issue:
Ground ball fielded by 1Bman between home and first and instead of tagging the runner he awkwardly flips it to the pitcher who is on his way to cover first. The batter beats him to the bag for an infield hit. This when the 1B fielded the ball and could easily tag the batter as he is running towards him.Pitchers and Catchers Report; Life Worth Living AgainComment

360, classic hit & pit, active bullpen ON, franchise
a)
I had Stauffer starting and WHILE pitching the bullpen message "T. Stauffer is ready.." appeared. But he was already pitching! I noticed a lonely catcher in the bullpen area as if he was receiving warmup pitches. Then something like "T. Stauffer is getting tired" and "T. Stauffer is going to sit down" or something. With that last message the lonely catcher dissapeared.Comment

Re: MLB 2K12 Feedback Thread (For Future Patch)
A couple things I noticed in franchise mode that need to be fixed.
1. The AI doesn't pinch hit for their starting pitchers or relief pitchers late in games.
2. The AI does a terrible job of setting their batting order. For example: I just played a game against the Phillies and John Mayberry was batting cleanup with Ryan Howard 5th and Utley 6th.Comment

Re: MLB 2K12 Feedback Thread (For Future Patch)
When fast-forwarding or super-simming or whatever it's called for pitching the cpu yanks starting pitchers way too quickly. I can have a guy working a shutout in the 5th and will get yanked when his pitch count is in the 70s.Comment

Re: MLB 2K12 Feedback Thread (For Future Patch)
Obviously there's the zombie glitch
When pitching in My Player I've noticed that sometimes the pitching ratings go in the wrong direction (For instance, after throwing a strikeout with my 63 OVR fastball, the dynamic ratings system flashed a "K" dialog box where it was supposed to go but my rating went down to 62 instead of going up and it turned red). So far this seems to only have happened in My Player.
Also the CPU seems to dive and miss more often than in an actual game. That happens multiple times in this videoComment

Re: MLB 2K12 Feedback Thread (For Future Patch)
I didnt see Infield Fly get called when it should have.
Here's the situation: men on first and second, one out. High popup to the 3rd baseman. Infield Fly should have been yelled by the ump signaling the batter out. I think I recall seeing it last year, but it happens rarely that I'm unsure.

Re: MLB 2K12 Feedback Thread (For Future Patch)
Foul pops behind home plate out of play. I'll chase with my catcher facing the direction of the ball. As soon as the catcher reaches the barrier (wall, fence) catcher abruptly turns his back and then faces the direction of the foul ball again.
Another one of those quirky animations that really needs to be cleaned up.

My player training mode:
When doing the baserunning train, and the objective is to tag up and score, it's impossible because a)the ball is hit way too shallow (it barely makes it out of the infield!) b) the running animation is so slow
I'm not even halfway down the line before the catcher has the ball waiting for meComment

Re: MLB 2K12 Feedback Thread (For Future Patch)
Disclaimer: I have not read every page, so apologies if this has already been mentioned.
Problem: A fielder never misses an over the shoulder catch. This is a problem because it isn't realistic to expect 5 Willie Mays catches a game.
Possible Solution: Program the outfield bobble animation on perhaps 25% of these types of plays where the fielder can only knock the ball down.Comment

i had a first and second popup to 3B with no outs. no IF Fly Rule called. i could easily have gotten a double play 3rd to 2nd.Comment
