Starting my new Yankees franchise, I made 1 trade before the season started. I traded catcher Austin Romine (23 years old, 70 ovr, 3/4 stars potential to the Rays for short stop Sean Rodriguez (26 years old, 74 overall, 3/4 stars potential).

I moved up Cervelli from AAA to backup martin at the catcher position since it was Romine backing up at the start of the season, and I put Rodriguez as Jeters backup.

I actually simmed a season earlier today before this new franchise to check out stats at the end of the year and was offered this trade during the sim, and I thought wow pretty good deal, especially at the end of the simmed season I saw Rodriquez jump 8 points in overall lol. And jeter has retired in both of my simmed seasons while checking out stats so I think it works out pretty good overall.

Phillies Receive: Hanley Ramirez and Emilio Bonifacio

Marlins Receive: Shane Victorino, John Mayberry, and a AAA pitcher.

I raped them. Got much younger.

Haven't had to do anything yet, but assuming Chipper retires after the year I'll need a LF since I'll move Prado to 3B.

Yeah I see what your saying but I can take the trade positively also, In Rodriguez I have a young solid defensive short stop whose got some speed and progresses pretty well, which I need since it seems Jeters retires after 1 year in this game all the time. And in the catcher aspect I can resign Martin and Cervelli for 1-2 years while I look for upgrade in free agency or draft another catcher prospect.

Traded for a few guys for my Red Sox chise. I traded for Ubaldo Jiminez ( Horrrible Pick-Up BTW ) , also got Justin Masterson who has been awesome. Another notable guy I got is Johhny Venters who is also really good. These are real trades too BTW, I'm not controllling all the teams. I think they were great trades. I got rid of Dice-K, Lackey and Jenks in the end.

Edit: Also Got Heath Bell, Francisco Rodriquez and Boone Logan. All three are pretty good. I think my chise has an excellent bullpen!

I didn't trade much people for them other than the ones listed. I gave away some prospects that were in AA or A seems they won't get superbly good next year and I don't need them with my team. I might've gave away some people in AAA too if they had a Trend going down. I would never trade very highly rated Prospects like Kalish and Lavarnway. Its very funny how Lavarnway is rated better than Saltalamachia but Salty is in the Majors. Lol.

Does anyone have any trade ideas for the Braves? I love my Braves and want to build them up so Sept 11' never happens AGAIN!

My main concerns are:
2B
3B
LF
Power hitters

The Braves have a lot of young pitchers, which makes Jurrjens and Minor/Beachy available for trade, though I'd love you keep Beachy and Minor. Dan Uggla is a BUM, plan and simple. I can't believe we signed him for what we did. he hits HR, awesome. He also bats .235 (good season) and drives in about 75 runs and thats with 32 HR. If its not over the fence then he's almost of no use. Also, I don't know if anyone else has noticed but Jason Heyward always does bad. I don't know what to do, but he is going to be the new face of the franchise 3 years down the line with McCann and Beachy/Hanson. I want to build this team right, but I've got to get some young prospects in here to build with.

Seems you weren't going for realism, because Cleveland wouldn't trade Ubaldo, or Masterson this year for prospect, when this is their window since most vets contracts expire in 2013, and if Dice-K, or Lackey went to Cleveland that wouldn't happen either they make way too much money.

Yeah,I didnt necessarily trade them to Cleveland. But I got these trades fairly. I gave them some good prospects. Ubaldo was doing horribly for them with a 6.75 ERA and Masterson was doing well. These where 2 seperate trades BTW. I gave up prospects that arent very important to me.

But yes, they did indeed give them to me. The trade system in this game is lacking, I;m for sure that wouldve never happened.

Swapped Logan Ondrusek, Juan Francisco and a prospect for Pablo Sandoval. Shipped Bronson Arroyo to the Yanks for Freddie Garcia (to free up cash to make the Sandoval deal)

I'm suprised you got Sandoval. I'd never think they'd trade him, I figured he was "Untouchable". I have found a few "Untouchable" and untradable guys. I tried to trade A-Gon for Kershaw and it is impossible. Not saying I would've.

Anybody else find other "Untouchables"? I think Lincecum is another.
