    MVP of coarse

Looks like MVP because they have made alot changes, whereas ESPN, hasn't corrected their larger mistakes. Plus MVP comes out earlier.

to be honest with you i probably will wait. Even MVP has some flaws but it looks like it is definetely going to be the best game on the market. The only thing i don't like is the batting which is kinda funky, but if i were you i would get that game. But i will make a lot more sense after the reviews have come out. So its really hard to say right now.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

MVP for me...I always hated the fact that ESPN made you field. I stink at fielding and would like an assist mode where I can just throw to the base...never understood why they could not add this as an option...

                        - Big improvements to fielder selection. We've made the automatic selection smarter about which fielder to choose, taking into consideration camera view, human reaction speed, ball speed and trajectory, etc. in addition to just ball position. In addition, we've changed the camera so that you get a much better view of balls hit to the extreme left and right (i.e. down the lines). In addition to that, we've added two options to make fielding easier if you're having a hard time with it. The first is called "Smart Fielding." This option essentially prevents you from running away from the ball. One problem last year that this fixes is at the moment the ball is hit, you'd think you were the 3rd baseman and jam the stick to the right on a ball in the hole. You'd be given the SS and would then proceed to run toward 2nd base, away from the ball. Smart Fielding detects if you are running away from the ball bath and steers you in the right direction (you still have a great deal of freedom in your exact route, you just can't run AWAY from where you need to go). This also helps when control swtiches from an infielder to an outfielder while you're holding the stick in a certain direction...Smart Fielding will keep your outfielder running towards the ball. The other option is along the same lines--it turns off the automatic reselection of fielders...so when the ball gets past the infield, the closest outfielder won't come under your control until you push a button telling it that you're ready to take control.

Hopefully all these improvements will make fielding more fun, particularly for people who are used to having "auto-fielding." I think fielding is one of the most fun and satisfying parts of a baseball game, and we've put a lot of effort into making it possible for non-experts to take part and be successful.

I'm buying MVP this year, the only big thing that ESPN has that I want is online play. But MVP seems better in almost every category except for online play for Xbox owners.
