If you had to categorize the types of players of baseball video games, how would it breakdown, percentage-wise?

Like, people who play every aspect of the game hands-on make up: this percent
Those who play manage-only make up: this percent
Sim-only: This percent
Hardcore (by whatever definition): This percent
Casual (also by whatever definition): That percent
Etc...


If anyone has any solid figures on this, I'd love to read about it.

I would say the majority of the people on these boards are hardcore sim freaks including myself very lite on the arcade side

I also play all 162 games.

I'm on my fifth year of my Giants franchise, and I won't lie to you, I haven't simmed one season game (some playoff games, but no season games). You guys might have seen my stats before, I can make this game really realistic (besides Human walks while pitching).

Only about 10% even try franchise mode, and a lot less than that play it as their mode of choice.
