Wow, that surprises me. Franchise mode is the only way to go IMO...

I'm on my fifth year of my Giants franchise, and I won't lie to you, I haven't simmed one season game (some playoff games, but no season games). You guys might have seen my stats before, I can make this game really realistic (besides Human walks while pitching).

why sim playoffs and not regular season, also will there be more works by the cpu, and also muffin i respect your thoughts and opinion, thats why you got a five from me.

How do you know only 10% even try Franchise Mode? Has Sega done surveys on this? Personally, playing a single exhibition game isn't very rewarding. Without having to manage your team and make it through a 162 game schedule, baseball video games wouldn't have lasting appeal. My guess is that at least 50% play Franchise Mode.

                  Yes.

Most people who play the game just have a favorite team or a favorite player, and play a few exhibition games with them.

Just 4 years ago, console baseball games didn't even have franchise modes.

My favorite player is Barry Bonds. It won't be much fun playing with the Giants this year without him. I was looking forward to breaking records with him (in Franchise mode).

Mine, too. We'll just have to edit Joe Young the best we can I guess. I'm going to edit everything about him, including his age, just so it's right.

I could've sworn that the October build was old, and that the final version will have him as a righty thrower, switch hitter, Asian, and 39 years old. I guess I'm wrong though.
