Thanks for all of the feedback.

Based upon some of your initial impressions it seems that the game has had minimal changes. To me this is not necessarily a bad thing. I was one that thought this game didn't need that many changes. However it is disappointing to see and hear about the pitching and batting interface. I thought that a facelift here would be a great start. The cocked heads and softball bats are atrocious. It seems (so far) that the only real changes are FPB, a few fielding animations, and GM Mode.

From a gameplay standpoint you have noted that alot of the aspects feel the same as last year. Have you had a chance to adjust the slider settings at all? It seems that with all of the sliders available we might be able to come up with a winner on the field even if the animations still need a little work.

I just thought of a few more questions....

In franchise mode, can I play any game on the schedule that I want to even though the team that I'm manageing is the Cubs or any other team for that matter?

Is there multi player franchise play?

Can you sim in and out of games in franchise mode?

Are there in game saves?

3. It's like MVP last year. You can start a sim and jump in during the game, but you can't go between simming and playing multiple times during the game like you can in MVP this year.

Shawn, two questions:

1. Has the double switch been fixed? Last year you couldn't do it.

2. Last year in franchise, fictional players names were not "spoken" during games. It either said their number, or in some instances, the player's name that coincided with the picture the player had. (eg. I had a black second baseman named Joe Hoover that had Ray Durham's picture. When he came up to bat, the announcer said, "Now batting, Ray Durham!") Has this been fixed?
