I'd just like to know if you're having fun with it, and I guess a fun comparison with MVP, since you liked that. I'm enjoying MVP, but not sure if I really have room for 2 baseball games in my collection

Re: Beta Impressions Thread
Is the sound and atmosphere as bad as it is in the movies?
Are throws and hit balls less floaty this year?
Is it a lot harder to steal bases?
Do the swing animations still suck?
Are there more outfield assists?
Thanks ShawnOriginally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

1. Like last year, is it too easy to strike out batters?

Sorry Shawn. As to #3, I mean after playing MVP, do you find you're having fun with ESPN?Comment

Re: Beta Impressions Thread
Let's get this out of the way first:
I've been an unabashed fan of Sega Sports and Visual Concepts since their first moments on the Dreamcast.
Ever since then, I've felt that "World Series Baseball" was the best hardball game on the market.
So if you don't like anything I have to say in this thread - keep that "EA fanboy" garbage to yourself, because you'd have a tough time finding anyone on Operation Sports who's been a bigger supporter of Sega Sports over the years than me.
Consider yourself warned.
Now, let's get to the game!Shawn Drotar
